Noble tea is in the Sawtelle area where there are a lot of boba drink places around. Our friend suggested this tea place. This shop is relatively small and there no indoor seating. It is basically a grab dnd go place. There are cozy seating outside. The menu is pretty standard with the usual milk tea, cheese foam type options and a wide selection of snacks. We just had dinner so we didn’t order snacks. The shop has two kiosk machines to order drink and food. What we found annoying was that the kiosk required us to pay tips and there was no way to bypass this request. We haven’t even finished ordering but we have to pay tips for service not rendered. There are other boba places in the valley that do not require tips before providing service as tipping is optional. Since one of us in our group was lactose intolerant, we asked for alternative options and were surprised that they did not have other option such as soy milk. It took 15 minutes to get three drinks. Unfortunately, we were disappointed with our drinks. One of the drinks was milk tea with red beans and glass jelly. The execution of this drink was terrible. They blended the ingredients together like in a smoothie so we couldn’t tell what was in the drink. The drink tasted almost like a pre-mixed powder drink with excessive amount of sugar. Not a fan of this tea place.

Noble Tea offers a wide selection of drinks, from classic milk teas to refreshing fruit teas, along with light snacks such as popcorn chicken and waffles. The shop has two self-ordering kiosks inside, which makes the ordering process quick and convenient. While there are no tables inside for dining, there is an outdoor patio in front where customers can sit and enjoy their drinks. Although it can take a little time to receive your order, the wait is never too long, and the drinks are worth it. The fruit flavors are especially fresh and vibrant, making each sip feel very satisfying. A favorite of mine was the limited-time Pink Peach Cloud, which included a creamy foam with a slight hint of saltiness that perfectly balanced the sweetness of the peach. Another standout was the Green Grape Slash with grape bits; it captured the taste of fresh grapes beautifully, and the added texture from the bits made it even more enjoyable. The tapioca milk tea is also a classic sweet, rich, and comforting but on hot summer days, the fruit-based drinks are especially refreshing and highly recommended.

Noble Tea is a pretty decent milk / fresh tea boba cafe. I usually get plain jasmine green tea and it was perfectly drinkable here, good taste with modifications allowed for sweetness and ice, which should be the standard now. I do really love the Taiwanese-style pork sung + fried egg sandwiches. Could I make it at home for $2 worth of ingredients instead of paying $9 for it? Sure, but for some reason, a sandwich always tastes better when someone serves it to me. Reminds me of my childhood. See the picture
yeah it’s a weird looking, salty/sweet flavored sandwich but truly delicious to a Taiwanese person. The app ordering in store does make it a somewhat cold, transactional experience, whereas most cafes make you feel welcome, with some sense of community. Parking is good though with lots of spots in the day and tip-only valet at night.

EDIT: I have deducted two stars due to repeated poor performance from the serving staff. Each ticket ordered through the self-service kiosk has my name on it, the item(s) ordered, and a ticket number. Twice in a row now, I have ordered a popcorn chicken and either had it given to another customer (without them calling out a name, number, or even spiciness level) or simply not announced until asked. The first time I had to brandish my receipt and have them remake it. The second time they simply let it sit on the counter as people passed me by until I asked how my popcorn chicken was coming and - lo and behold - it was right there. They need to train the service staff to perform better and make use of the data provided in their ticketing system - otherwise what's the point? You might as well just jack people's orders and they'd never know.

Step it up. I want to like this place. Just give me my damn order.

ORIGINAL REVIEW (remarks still stand): No credit card minimum, simple and fair sizing, good tea. Definite upgrade from MJ cafe, if only from an ease of...
