OMGrill — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I used to go here A LOT when i am still working in an HVAC warehouse nearby.. I found this gem along sherman way and brought my co-workers to try this during lunch time and they liked it of course.. at that time for the price of a chicken bowl is really a bang for the buck and we would have food coma after eating the whole thing.. Since then i had to quit that job because of an accident and never been here for a while. Few months passed i went back again because i missed that char flavor and to my surprise they increased their prices wayyyy to steep and no changes in the amount of serving though they are already generous enough it doesn't justify a very steep price increase. Although their staff already know me enough and very nice to me specially the lady that works there (i forgot her name) who saved me from a long line when i come in for an online pick up order, i think i would take a break from going back.. their food is very good but for the price now it's too much and there are more...

VERY VERY VERY DISAPOINTED I have been a regular at OMG. I loved there burgers and the chicken bowls. This last visit. Someone took our order over the phone (like always). We always order a Bacon Cheese Avocado burger combo. Even if we order a Bacon Cheese Burger & then add avocado slices. This last few times they have messed up my order. I got tired of them messing up. Called to have them re do my order. WOW, the staff @ the restaurant gave my assistant a very hard time. They argued and kept insisting on Guacamole Burger. I never asked for a Guacamole burger. Finally after a while, we got our order and it was still ALL WRONG!!! I've been in the neighborhood for little over 20 yrs and have seen lots of business come and go at that location. If they keep that attitude up. They will not survive. There business is based on the local offices and local fire department. Word gets around fast when places don't treat...

Overall I give this place a 7 out of 10.

The prices are unreal, very inexpensive.

I ordered two items, the chimichurri chicken salad to go, and also the Teriyaki Rice Bowl. Not bad. Don't get me wrong, but here were my gripes.

The Chimichurri Chicken Salad (maybe 4oz) is basically just half of a chicken breast chopped up, and then thrown on top of a bed of lettuce. That's it. Nothing fancy. The flavor is good.

The teriyaki chicken rice bowl was good. The sauce is a little bit salty though. I think maybe if you mix the chicken well with the rice, it kind of balance is out?

My final thoughts on this place would be that if you're in a crunch, and need something on the go that is inexpensive, this is a good place to go to. Should I bring a date here for dinner, probably not. But as a married couple, you want to bring your kids here, or some place to buy lunch for a film crew, it's definitely a...
