Read moreThe pricing of their food is going up way too high. Today i came in to get breakfast, ive always bought breakfast and always get 4 extra sausage links and 4 extra bacon strips for my kids so we share a meal and today i was so disappointed in the massive price increase. They sold me only 2 sausage links for $2.75! Not that long ago it was possible to get 4 sausage links at that price. For the price of almost $3.00 you can actually buy 8 sausage links at the grocery store and just cook them your self vs geting only 2 meager sausage links. This made me not want to return to Penny's. The owners are getting too greedy with less food and charging even more for the meal which if you live paycheck to paycheck, and dont make $18.00 or $20.00 an hour, it will make it much harder for most people in the Highland Park area to dine here. I truly am disappointed, they just made me want to start cooking at home which i usually like to take a break from that at least once a week but looks like due to their massive price increase, its best for me to cook at home and save...
Read moreCustomer service was okay. Lady was prioritizing phone orders, not sure if thats standard for them. There was no one else besides me when I got there so I thought customer thats in person would get prioritized but might not be the case with them.

Ordered a bacon, avocado, and cheese. The taste was lacking. Burger contains fundamental ingredients but no dressing on it. If you don't like burgers with dressing such as thousand island you'll probably enjoy it, otherwise I wouldn't recommend it.
On the plus side, I was able to order a chile Asado on the side. They were moderately spicy. Coming from someone who loves spicy things. Its not obvious that you can order the item, but if you ask they'll charge a...
