My bf & I live in north Hollywood, not too far-but with traffic; it winds up being a mission just to get there. They were the only one open & so we get there, & it made us order online for the coupon we wanted to use, or pay double that in the drive through. The only problem was, it was super early in the morning. We didn’t wanna get stuck out there with no way to charge it. (That we know of) So in order to get back safely, we had to be out of there in less than an hr. But to order, we had to place it 30 minutes ahead of time! We did, & told the person in the drive through about it. & the “manager” said he didn’t have the order yet cuz of the time delay but that he would get it started as soon the order came through in the system….we asked for it fresh. We spent almost $40 on the food & went to the charging station to charge the car. We were so upset to see that everything was spicey! &… I have ulcers & my bf has acid reflux. So we both had to sit there and wait for an hr while the car charged. Smelling food we couldn’t eat! Meanwhile, I called the manager & spoke to him. He said we could come back for them to be remade, & we agreed reluctantly-cuz it’s a pain in the butt!!! Anyways, had that not have happened, I would have written to corporate n told them to get my money back. I am disabled. I can’t always get out of bed. I have been sick & its been almost 2 months!!! We need to go there & get our money back or the order replaced. I know it’s been a while but we have the receipts still & would like to be made whole. No one is paying for the battery we have to use round trip. Customers, please CHECK YOUR ORDER PRIOR you leaving/once you get it!!!! We still want our money or food back or the right thing should be both. Bc of the inconvenience you have caused. There was a third order which ordered on yahoo email; but I have that receipt in the car too.

Updated : 6/30/19 Thumbs down. No ice in my sweet tea, no utensils for my food, would rather utensils then all this contaminated honey, flavorless rice, guy tried to tell me I couldn't get my platter then I was questioning it , so finally he said I can. Smh. Haven't been to this location in like 2-3 years because of the service. But Mercedes (hopefully that's her name, its the name on my receipt and she was helping me) but was so professional. She took my order at drive thru I said my order once and she got my meal and even understood my 2 sides combo is aplatter. The other location tries to charge me a whole extra side like no. But anyways I proceed to the window, and she is still professional - love it. My food was good I received everything I wanted even a bunch of napkins ! That's a surprise I normally never get a napkin. Lol. Tenders were large sized, red beans and rice was evenly portion and hot, biscuit is always soft and tasty, fries a tad bit on the cold side that's why I took away a star, fries are important to be served hot ! But my sweet tea was delicious and sweet like I like it. But I'll returning here. Keep it up.!

I will never wait my time here again. My order was simple, B7 and B4 believe. One order was beacon, sausage and chesse. The other just egg and a biscuit. As you can see in the picture I didn't get the beacon sandwich. The guy added extra items to my bill. I didn't order a slice of cheese, extra egg or another sausage sandwich. My hash downs were put in the bottom of the bag. And I was giving 2 orange but the oj wasn't on my bill. There was a large order in front of me which took 10 mins to complete. (I waited patiently) When I got out of the car him and the other staff just talked about the order as if i wasn't standing there. Then he said " i can just give you the beacon sandwich" I was trying to tell him about begin over charged on my receipt. He wasn't listening to me at all. The manager I guess just stood there making a large batch of tea as if nothing was happing. Long story short....don't wait your time here. I am very disappointed. Simple order made complicated

History and Origins of Popeyes: Popeyes' roots trace back to a small restaurant in New Orleans, where its founder, Al Copeland, experimented with seasonings to create a uniquely spicy and flavorful chicken recipe. No Popeyes meal is complete without indulging in their delectable sides. Classic favorites like Cajun fries, mashed potatoes with gravy, and red beans and rice perfectly complement the main dishes. The careful balance of flavors and generous portions ensure every bite is satisfying.

d) Biscuits, the Golden Crusts:

Popeyes' fluffy and buttery biscuits deserve a category of their own. These golden crusts of deliciousness are incredibly addictive and make for a perfect companion to any meal. I love this Popeye's!!!! The first plus is that they're open 24 hrs! 2nd, I really have to commend this location on their consistency. Each and every time, the food tastes the same.... hot, fresh, and delicious! Sometimes, you can expect to wait in a long line, but it is worth it. If I had to criticize a couple things, the first would be the occasional disappointment when they've ran out of some side orders. I usually don't trip because they have a good selection of delicious sides. So if they're out of my first choice, I can easily pick something else without a problem. It's just that you would think, being open 24 hrs, they'd be constantly making sides so that they don't run out. Also, they tend to have a large population of homeless people hanging out in their outdoor dining area and in the drive thru, and they don't really do anything about it. I tend to go here late after work (around 3 or 4am), and I get frustrated having some rando walk up to my window asking for money while I'm trying to order my food or asking me to order them a couple of Tuesday spicy specials and further hold up the line. I work in in a restaurant, and I give spare change, dollars, and even food to homeless all day every day.....but sometimes, when it's finallu your turn to feed yourself after a long day of work serving others, you don't want to be bothered by yet another homeless person at wee hours of the morning, leaning into your car window and trying to talk you out of your last dollar. I just wanna get my food and go home...
