Poquito Mas — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I would only give one star if the food had not been decent. However I will say that the food was the only plus to this establishment, the service speed and accuracy was absolutely horrendous!! We were treated like invalid's that had never walked into a restaurant before, the wait to order was upwards of 15-29 minutes and the line wasn't even out the door or close to being outside the door. Was very surprised when ordering as the man (also the GM) treated me and my partner like we were stupid because we asked if we could get something as a burrito. He was incredibly brief and couldn't wait for the order to be over any sooner. He was so brief in fact that he missed half of our order and was incredibly upset that he had to modify the order before charging me. We still even then had to have part of the order fixed which made him all the more irritable with myself all of which he made us go to the back of line and wait another 15 minutes to just get a shell for my salad that was supposed to be in a tortilla bowl. Overall I would never return to this restaurant even if I was paid to do so. Absolutely disgusting display of the manager of the restaurant! The food was okay but nowhere near great and the shrimp on my salad was very much overdone, I gave up on trying to get something else and just ate rubber shrimp! I would give one star if my partner's burrito hadn't been quite tasty and if we weren't so darn hungry!!!!! Never again will I be obliging your establishment!!! We will take our business...

I came to enjoy a delicious dinner with my partner because I've heard so many incredible things about Poquito Más! However, when coming to eat at the Studio City location....we were joined by some unwanted friends. First, we decided to dine on the outdoor patio and enjoy the nice weather outside. As we were eating, my partner noticed something from the corner of his eye, it was Stuart Little! When I looked it was not just one Stuart Little scurrying... BUT 4 fat rats! Instantly, we decided to move our experience inside of the restaurant in hopes that maybe it was just nature happening outside.

We then moved indoors and sat down to enjoy our meal, when low and behold something dropped out of the corner of my eye. I look on the table, and saw nothing. Then as I peeked on the window sill.... a ROACH was there. It had fallen from the ceiling and barely missed our table. Instantly mortified and disgusted, we left.

Poquito Más is subpar, the service was super underwhelming, and the atmosphere is presented as dirty and unkept. Definitely don't think we will be returning due to this experience. Rats AND roaches, any time, for first time customers is a turn off. Measures definitely need to be taken to ensure this restaurant remains pest free!

Also....the food was not that good to be charging...

My Familia and I went to this Poquito Más yesterday Septiembre 6 ,2021 . I was not happy with this place . We ordered food for us. The Man who took our order adding on stuff to our order we did not ask AT ALL!!then he tells me oh here I ordered some things you did not aak for 🤔. Then we went to a table outside in there food area our table was dirty “I get it you guys our busy with 5 workers there but my Kids ask the woman to clean the table she came over with an attitude saying put your mascon I won’t clean your table to all of us she decided to wipe down the table what she did was wiped it out on my lap and then to my nice clothes. I think what really topped it off was we had ordered not a lot of food just one item between us and a took us 35 minutes to get our food and everybody else that ordered behind us already had their food didn’t make any sense wasn’t happy at all the only benefit was the food was really good it’s just sad that the situation that happened before getting our food between being charge for stuff we didn’t order and the stuff being put on my lap with my brand new slacks from the table. But I recommend the food yes but I recommend their customer service absolutely not… But I recommend this place only if you were going to order out and NOT sit there...
