In-N-Out Burger — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Never had any issues with other In-n-Out burger locations, until today. At this particular location, Today August 23, 2016 at approximately 1:30-1:45 pm my friend Cece and I ordered two double meat protein style combo meals, one with grilled onions and the other no onions, both had cheese. We both wanted to indulge a little and instead of a soda ordered chocolate shakes with our meals.

(This was the only meal we had, because I fast 16 hours and eat food within 8 hours a day, it was time for me to eat and she hadn't eaten breakfast.)

After we finished eating about 20 minutes later, I was feeling ill. I started to experience abdominal pain, stomach cramp, chills, dizziness, fatigue, fever, lightheadedness, malaise/ weakness, clamminess, sweats. I had a headache, was bloating, gagging/nauseated, flatulence, and diarrhea.

(I thought at first I was experiencing heat exhaustion because the symptoms are similar to food poisoning with a few symptoms that don't add up to heat exhaustion but to food poisoning for example bloating, flatulence and diarrhea.)

Food poisoning was confirmed when my friend Cece was experiencing the same symptoms as I was, difference is she might be going to the hospital tonight because of the food poisoning.

2019.07-14/1454: Jackson is an awesome ordertaker. He carefully listened and took the time to slowly repeat back our order to make sure it was correct. That's something we haven't encountered in a while. This is what I love about this business - it is well ran. When there are issues, they take care of it. Just wanted to comment on our great experience today. Even our cashier, Jaidda also repeated our order slowly and carefully as well. We received exactly everything we ordered to perfection! In-N-Out was our second stop once we stepped off a 14.5 hour flight from Sydney to L.A. We are serious burger people, so once we had picked up our rental car we headed towards heaven in the guise of a fast food burger joint.

Anticipation was high once we arrived, built up over the last 14.5 hours of terrible airline food and after a short wait in a very busy burger bar our burgers arrived and did not disappoint.

The double double animal style looked incredible, with a juicy pattie, fresh crisp lettuce and large dinosaur sized tomatoes. Its taste was good and filling especially the sauce they smothered on the burger, making up for a bland chicken curry and a dry bread roll that had been dinner courtesy of virgin airlines.

The fries on the other hand I was not so keen on. They were limp and greasy and lacked the normal crisp fired nature that I am so fond of.

Note to staff, you may want to change your bins more often. When we went to dispose of our papers and drink containers at the end of our meal, the bins were so full that nothing more could be added. We had to leave our rubbish on the ground which left us feeling...
