Raspado Xpress — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Bad customer service! Bad experience! Asked for a yellow vanilla raspado. The lady gave me a grayish looking raspado. I asked if it was vanilla, she said yes. And gave me a whole story that only the park raspados are yelling... I asked oh so you guys don't use food coloring? And this is vanilla?? She said yes. I tried it and the tast was cheap sweet and said , I don't think this is it.. THEN she says ohhh the other one.. I understand mistakes happen and I gave back the one she made wrong and asked for the one I originally ordered.. HER reply was that she would need to CHARGE me for a new one!!!!! What! You are not going to charge me for your mistake and an other one!! I left. I called later to speak to a manager. She was not in, so I asked for the cashier's name and the cashier that made the wrong order and now on the phone with me does NOT want to give me her name and has a bad attitude... never going...

I'm a fairly new resident to the Panorama City area (6 months) and decided to visit this Raspado Xpress location. I've never tried their desserts before so my family and I were looking forward to finally tasting the raspados. We got there (around 8 pm) and the line was long so we took a stroll along the other businesses by the time we got back to the raspados, the line was short. The young girl quickly yelled out of the window "excuse me, the man in front of you is the last customer ". I stood there for a minute thinking to myself "it's only 8:50pm, they must not really want my business ". I didn't argue the situation and took my 3 girls and husband and left. The entire experience was bad and dissapointing and won't be returning. I will take my money and business to another city. This is the reason why I gone out of my way to drive further out of my own city to shop. Customer service...

I saw the groupon deal for this place and I never buy a Groupon without checking the yelp reviews first. I noticed a few bad reviews on custoner service and that's a big NO NO for me no matter how good their stuff is. But today I was in the area and remembered the groupon deal so i decided to give this place a try and I'm glad I did their raspados are GREAT! They're sweet, fresh, tangy,& spicy ( you can opt for non spicy) it's like the best virgin cocktail ever. Creating a party of flavors and textures in your mouth Icy, juicy, fruity, YUMMY!

But most importantly the two girls working were really great, they were sweet, helpful with recommendations, and quick with their service. They had a long line and they had the drink coming quickly.
