This location in LA, by Vermont next to Seafood City is by far the WORST Red Ribbon store ever IMO. Ive been to the all the locations and this place has proly the worst customer service ever. And its all due to its supposed store manager named "Chella" however you spell it. You know the saying "the fish rots from the head" well this location proves that old adage coz every single "run in" Ive had with an employee with rudeness stems from her. Why? Because they are following her cues and how she behaves. Dont you realize your subordinates follow the leader by example. Everytime I come in this Lady "Chella" always has a mean muggin expression in her face, she never says hi, never greets me, always nakisimangot, parang GALIT ang ichura, tapos ang SAMA pa ng tinging sa akin! Kala monaman kung Sya ang may ARI ng lugar haha. She honestly makes me feel so UNWELCOME with zero acknowledgement and always giving me dirty looks. And her workers are no better. That "Luis" guy who works there? Equally rude and horrible. I dont understand you people, are you or are you not wanting to ATTRACT clients or are you trying to REPEL us? Which is it? And I SPEND a LOT of Money too! But of course your store manager doesnt care lol proly because its not her own place of business. She honestly makes me feel so UNCOMFORTABLE with her weird, PREJUDICED and microaggressive behaviors towards me. I hope you understand that these types of treatments towards customers are a Liability. Do better. Because: My job is to cater to your business and give you guys money. And your Job is to make sure I am WELCOMED and be treated with respect and great hospitality. You know what the Resto business say: "You come for the Food, but you come BACK for the...
Read moreAs a fan of anything Ube, I was excited to try the Ube Mamon and Ube Flan Cake slice from Red Ribbon Bakeshop through Uber Eats. The delivery was prompt, and the packaging ensured the delicate cakes arrived in perfect condition.
The Ube Mamon was the first to be sampled, and it was a bit disappointing. The texture was incredibly light and fluffy, practically melting in my mouth, but the ube flavor was subtle and forgettable.
Next, I moved on to the Ube Flan Cake. This dessert is a brilliant combination of two parts ube mamon cake and one part flan. The flan layer was as light and airy as the mamon, creating a harmonious blend of textures, but the flan had a delicate sweetness with the slightest hint of caramel which was hardly noticeable.
Overall, both the Ube Mamon and Ube Flan Cake from Red Ribbon Bakeshop were...
Read moreWe purchased an Ube cake last week. Much to our dismay, the quality of Red Rbbon cakes seemed to have gone so bad. After one slice, we trashed th cake. 1) QUALITY AND TEXTURE: Note that we purchased an ube cake but not even a patina of ube flavor can be savored. The smoothness and moistness characteristic of Red Ribbon cakes seemed to have vanished. Instead, th Ube cake we purchased was DRY AND CRUMBLY. Worst of all, the cake had this bitter after taste that lingered in my mouth for some time until I sucked on a slice of lemon. (2) Packaging: The carrier box on which the cake was packed lousy such that cake had no side opening that you can slide it to a wide open space for room to lift safely. The design of the carrier box posed a precarious process of lifting from the box rather...
