Berendo Dollar — Local services in Los Angeles

Berendo Dollar is back open after being shut down for two years due to a fire. I am so happy I found this place today. It has everything a Dollar Tree (party balloons, specialty crafts, lawn decorations), 99 cent only store (basic needs: food, paper towels, makeup, essentials), and Giant Dollar (skillets, small ice chests, small appliances, backsplash, clothes) would have. The brands vary from major manufacturers (Dove, Pine-Sol, Tide) to retail specific brands (Mainstays by Walmart, one item from Sharper Image, several makeup pieces sold by Sephora, packages sold at Daiso). The prices range from about $1-$5 for basic necessities. Pots, pans, appliances, and other bigger items are a little more. But, I didn’t see anything over $20. Even better than the prices and selection was the customer service provided...

This place is the absolute best discount store in the ktown area. Very accommodating hours of operation, and the staff is extremely friendly. Anything that you possibly might need to buy you will find it there and for the most affordable prices ever avoid your average dollar store.this one...
