We had the best service today even when we all have that bad day at work or simply losing someone to COVID but for some reason our friend Robbie suggested to stop by @ ShakeysPizza on Boyle heights / Caesar Chavez . I’m glad we did she went above n beyond to give us the service to take care of us like we were at home . she was very humble n very respectful . Our hats off to you sweet heart don’t ever change for no one thank you . So the next time your having a bad day or simply want awesome food service make sure to stop by there she is there Monday thru Friday P.S don’t forget to tip her cause even when she wasn’t asking she gave in return with a service that takes a lot of effort to withstanding these hardships so please be kind , be humble n give her that in return . Yesterday was my first dine in at this location since this whole COVID pandemic happened. The girl who took my order just didn't seem very friendly. She looked and sounded like she had attitude. I had to constantly repeat myself to her. I didn't like how they charged you extra for the drinks and I was told that if you finish your drink and you want more you have to pay for it. They give you a can drink. Also I didn't like how you can't even serve your own food they pretty much serve it for you so tell me how is that sanitary. Even the place where the kids can play isn't even open. I've always loved shakeys I loved it because it had a buffet style where I was able to serve myself now I can't even do that. My sister got one of those coupons for a free pizza from her school, and she had been begging for a while for me to take her there, and I finally went, but upon arrival, the parking lot was jam packed, and really hard to squeeze in. I ordered a simple small pizza, the one that's free and shouldn't be that hard to make. I ordered when it was my turn, and I waited patiently on the side for my simple order, but they provided terrible service for us, just because we didn't pay for any of the food. We watched as 17 other customers ordered, and got their food ahead of us. And even after nagging at the manager several times, she didn't seem to care about us. 1 hour later, I got my small free pizza for my sister and was happy to never have to come back to this shakey's...
