Starbucks — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I actually love this Starbucks, but recently stopped coming due to two employees named Cesar and Jarod. I know that this particular Starbucks is on a up scale lovely neighborhood but the way they acted towards me and my aunt was hurtful and indifferent, they kept asking us if we were sure we could afford the drinks we were ordering, and making comments like "I am sorry if the prices are too steep for you both, with a huge fake grin", I was speechless, usually everyone is so nice here, but when they are around I notice the employees act intimidated and nervous, seems like they feel that they have to be super overly kind to them, they look like the managers or something in reference to that, I did not bother asking them who they were in the store, I also saw them treating a homeless person like complete trash, homeless people they should be talked to and treated with kindness like everyone else, this particular homeless person was calm and cooaperative but got treated like trash despite being an old lady :( seems like everyone of the staff kisses up to them both cause they must both be managers or something of higher calibre in this Starbucks than them. To everyone who is not fancy or looks upscale or acts upscale please beware of these employees cause you will get treated like a peasant if you do not look the part, once again I understand this neighborhood is in an upscale place but their is no need to treat people this way. Another point I wanted to make was that there are many people who come into this Starbucks to charge their electric devices and I have noticed a lot of people not purchase anything and still are able to sit in this Starbucks with no problem what so ever, but they both tend to pick on people they feel should not be in the Starbucks, if they were fair they would not let anyone sit in this Starbucks who has not purchased something, on many occasions I have noticed they like to pick on certain people and tell them to leave, and let certain people have(a pass) and the luxury to just sit in this Starbucks and charge their devices as long as they want without picking on them even when they have not purchased anything. It is completely double standard and biased, they are both only nice to the people who look like they are from this upscale neighborhood, I write this causethat is what I have noticed through out my experiences here, I always felt that Starbucks was purely about the coffee experience, enjoying a cup of coffee and or a pastry, but both these employees ruined it for me, and I am sure for plenty of others, but others do not have the guts to say anything cause that is how intimidating they both are. They both SEEM nice, but they both pick and choose who they treat nicely when in reality they should treat EVERYONE nicely. I have been to this Starbucks too many times and notice the difference when they are around........... I can bet a million dollars not one of the employees would complain about them due to not wanting to get fired or disliked by other employees, they would all pretty much say great things about both of them in fear or intimidation or getting reprimanded or fired. This is very nice to hang out and enjoy a good cup of joe with all its different incarnations that a corporate coffee giant can conjure up.

All the staff is cool with their hat selection, and service seems to be a little above their normal par.

The decor is warm with wood, and there is some soft-sided furniture depending on the location. Unfortunately, here in Los Feliz, finding a place to sit down is often a challenge as folks hang out here for hours of end. Also, if you don't bring your Apple Laptop, you may feel a bit out of place.

The reserve line for Starbucks represents a truly exclusive line of available coffees and a staff that is better versed in the beans. I simply love their use of special dark chocolate for their mochas.

Parking is available with their own parking lot, but you're limited to 45 minutes with validation before paying another premium for the presence of coffee greatness. For you motorcycle riders, they don't give you any consideration even if you don't take a full parking spot.

The only negative take is that fact that usually none of their staff seems to be aware of how a Nitro Brew is supposed to be served. They seem to always serve the darn thing in a cup with a straw. Bringing this point up with their management seems to be a futile effort. No one seems to be...
