I always find myself asking why I don’t go to this location, why I wait to go all the way to Culver City (where I work) to get my coffee. Then I make the mistake of coming here and I remember. The service here is awful. The employees here are awful, they need improvement. Either way you order whether it’s walk up or drive thru they will take an immense amount of your time just to mess up your order, guaranteed! The last time I went to this location I ordered 2 drinks. A carmel brûlée grande frapp with an add shot and a tall passionfruit lemonade. A small order at a slow time of day. After giving me my lemonade I waited for about 10 minutes. It began to get a bit busy and when other people got their orders and I had yet to receive the rest of mine I thought it was time to say something. I got in line to say something because they won’t pay you any attention at the order pickup window. The lady called my name, handed me the wrong order and asked me with attitude if I even had another drink with my order. I had to tell her she made the frapp wrong not once, not twice, but three times. And no, the third time wasn’t the charm, I was just sick of her giving me attitude for screwing up my order 3 times and making me wait now 20 minutes for the whole process. I dealt with about 4 people during my order, all of which were rude for no reason. One walked away from me mid conversation to assit the window. I was trying to ask her if there was an add shot in my drink, there wasn’t. I never raised my voice once, I was polite even when they were not. Finally another customer who was waiting for her drinks interjected and told the employees there to give me what I paid for. I have a great “Starbucks” relationship with everyone who works here and after coming for only a short time, they remembered my name, small details we talked about in casual conversation, my order. Everything! Some of the team members even compete to see who can get my order the quickest when they see me walk up. Little things like this make my day so much better. I’ve only seen nothing but hard work and kindness by everyone who works here and they have gone out of their way, for me and other customers, to make sure our experiences are always good ones. Read moreThis Starbucks is conveniently located near my home, but everytime I go the service is terrible! The parking lot was not well thought out, legit there are 4 regular parking spaces and the drive thru line blocks them all. Walking up to the window is a terrible idea because they don't acknowledge your presence and when they do take your order you might as well wait 10 minutes to receive it because everyone who works there is focused on the drive thru, it's just a BIG disappointment. This Starbucks has terrible, terrible service and it's brand new. I've witnessed them forget people's orders (even when they ordered before me) and I see people behind the counter that clearly don't care about their job, just there to collect a paycheck.
