I LOVE my church! So much history & giving to the community of all walks of life. Our doors are open & we welcome all. I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my choir: Cathedral Choir; the oldest African-American choir in the City of Los Angeles. Come out on any 1st Sunday of the month (7:50am, 9:50am or 12pm) you will be filled with Happiness, Joy & Love! You will not fall-asleep! Drag the kids & teens with you; trust, they will have a good time. You have never seen a choir of "Super" Seniors (70s, 80s & 90-year-olds) rock the house like this. Reverands: Boyd, Randal, Vickers, Armstrong, Washington, BeBe, Jackson, Carolyn, Adrienne, Sheri, Medina, Price, Dr. Helen & Dr. Thema are all Phenomenal! Praise God!...

The oldest African American church in Los Angeles. It was established with the assistance of Biddy Mason, an African who was an "indentured servant"; at that time called "slave" in the US. She amassed wealth, through ingenuity and compassion, for all people. She provided accommodations for Africans, (not yet called "Americans"), when it was still legal to kill them, if they were caught trying to flee an American landowner, while trying to seek freedom. Beautiful mural, in the main sanctuary. Kind and welcoming church members. Everyone should make this a prime stop when visiting Los Angeles. BTW, they have three (3) services. Good chance that you can catch one. But get there early. Parking...

English: This megachurch has become so Far-Left, they can’t even proclaim the Gospel of Christ because they chose worldliness (or be of the world), which are welcoming politicians who are OK of destroying the United States and removing God out of everything, especially in California. Have you read 1 John 2:15-17? 2 Corinthians 4:4? Isaiah 31:1-3? Psalms 31:6? Psalms 118:8? Ezekiel 33:9? Ever read the Great Commission? Have you read 1 John 2:15-17? 2 Corinthians 4:4? Isaiah 31:1-3? Psalms 31:6? Psalms 118:8? Ezekiel 33:9? If any one of you still and continue to attend this church, you need to leave this church immediately and start reading your Bible FOR YOURSELVES!

My Sorority, Zeta Phi Beta were guests there for Prematurity Awareness month. The service was nice, made to feel very welcome and singing was great. I ran into an old friend after service.
