Being this my first review here, allow me to explain why this place is by far the most outstanding place not only in Subway restaurants but and all restaurants.
But I will also like to address the negative and very bad review here. It was proven that this person made a mistake and was talking about another Subway, possibly the one on Sepulveda Blvd and Nordhoff St, where I do believe that this really happened to this reviewer. That place is really really bad. So, people, let's not get confused nor discouraged. It is impossible for such a horrible employee to be hired by our good friend Ara.
I can summarize the great level of this place in some points: -Truly outstanding custormer service (including and especially the manager, Ara) -Clean, cozy and welcoming vibe and location -Total freedom in the menu and off-the-charts original recipes.
Individuals like Daniel, young talented sandwich artist, with original ideas and delicious creations, and who has worked everywhere, all the way from Costco to McDonald's, is really good at his craft, and also a good good friend. Over time , you really get to connect with him.
Same thing with Ara (the manager) an invidividual who donates to and helps local churches, a manager who is there all mornings, a truly talented, experienced and skilled sandwich artist (having competed in tournaments and competitions), is one of the very few (if not, the only one) who instead of staying at the cash register (like most) he himself gets in the line finishing or starting sandwiches from scratch. Just go and ask Ara or Daniel to surprise with any of their creations. Yoy will be pleasantly surprised. This manager, Ara, is really the epitome of customer service. Dont take my words; go and meet this guy, Ara, during this mornings and see for yourself.
Don Raúl (Daniel's dad), too, funny, friendly and hard working. Melissa, always patient, always smiling, and very helpful. Vanessa with glasses, also creative and original with her personal creation, her veggie patty sandwich, and the other Vanessa, pretty and a pleasant smile.
You can tell that our friend Ara takes good care of his staff and just doesn't hire anybody. Give yourself a treat and try this little place on Sepulveda and Plummer. After being to so many bad places, so many... this little place is not just goos but way...
Read moreOn Sept 16, 2017 I had by FAR the worst experience at this Subway. Their is a young lady with blonde hair and glasses with no name tag who was absolutely and OUTRIGHT disrespectful. I came in with a coupon that gave 4 six inch Subs for $10. I asked for 2 turkey subs on white bread, 2 steak and cheese on honey oat. When I asked If I can get the steak and cheese with the coupon, she turned her back, WALKED off for about minute without answering my question. She came back and put the steak on the white bread. No big deal. Simple mistake. I simply stated again, "Can I have my steak and cheese on honey oat" GUESS what she did. Gave me white bread for the two steak and cheese sandwiches. OK maybe she is having a bad day. Still no big deal. At this point another customer noticed her lack of attentiveness and so did her co-worker. So she said "It was a mistake" in my mind
Strike 1: You walked off when I asked a question without answering my question.
Strike 2: You got my order wrong.
Strike 3: You got my order wrong again after repeating it multiple times.
At this point I asked the other lady to serve me in which she did in a professional manner in which I thanked her for her professionalism. She prepared my 2 turkey subs and my 2 steak and cheese subs. When it came to the toppings on my steak and cheese I asked read onions ONLY. Guess whos back. THE SAME BLONDE GIRL WITH THE GLASSES. AFTER I asked her not to serve me and she put lettuce on my sandwich??????????? The other worker just took over and prepared my meal like a functional adult with a good sense of customer service. NO MANAGER on site, NO SUPERVISOR on site or no OWNER on site. Just the two young ladies. As I left I told her "You have bad customer service and you have been rude to previous customers and I will report you to corporate". This girl while on her cell phone said "I dont care GET OUT." While on her cell phone. LOL. I only laughed in pity for her as I left with my sandwiches.
Through the last year going to this subway I have seen this same young GIRL consistently be rude to a multitude of customers and I`ve had bad customer service from her previously with my kids present. This is my second time I go in to this subway and they always tell me that the system is down or broken, I’m just very disappointed and frustrated because as a assistant manager of another subway I know this excuse, not only that I had called the store to speak to the manager to resolve this manner and the employee who answered the phone was very unprofessional and rude when I had asked for the managers number.
