SushiStop PICK UP Downtown LA — Restaurant in Los Angeles

we placed an order with DoorDash at 7:30 for miso soup, avocado rolls, edamame Goza and some other sushi. It didn’t come until 9:15 PM. The soup was cold. The Gozo was cold. There was a hair in my avocado roll. No accountability is taken from this restaurant since it’s a delivery only address and I even tried to call one of the other locations and you can’t reach them by phone. Why does nobody at sushi stop care about their reputation we thought the Coco robot was going to deliver to us something went wrong on the app and it took forever and then a person delivered it and the only thing they can do is give you a minimal credit, but I’m just not sure how to give this feedback to them because this is pretty awful. I hope that I don’t get food poisoning because of this two hour window of delivery that’s unacceptable. I’m starving and I have a headache and I’ve started to make other food while waiting for this delivery. The hardest part is I used to eat at the sushi stop in Hollywood frequently and I would love to order their food. If the delivery time didn’t take two hours and there was not hair in my food and the delivery was able to bring me hot soup...

I ordered online thinking I was ordering from a Sushi Stop restaurant but was surprised it was just a warehouse type setup where your food is either waiting for you in a locker or behind the counter with a service employee. For me it wasn't too long of a wait or difficult to pick up my food it was behind the counter with the service employee. It did take him a bit of time to find it, as it was just one employee and a lot traffic.

Do note you will have to deal with delivery drivers on time crunch, people confused with pickup method, and wait time as there was only one employee behind the counter.

Parking is only available on the street, and it is hard to find. Most people just park in the middle lane of the street with emergency lights on for pickups. It gets pretty crowded.

This review is based on Uber eats review. I’ve been to the sushi stop in Pasadena and it’s one of my favorite restaurants for sushi. This isn’t like the Pasadena spot.

I ordered the Blue Crab Hand Roll, Salmon Skin Roll, Baked Salmon Roll, Salmon Truffle Sauce Sashimi, Grilled Salmon Collar, Albacore Miso Sauce Sashim Salmon Skin Salad, Soft Shell Crab & and a Diet Coke.

The blue crab rolls were phenomenal, the baked salmon roll were delicious. The salmon collar was a good overall and the albacore was ok. The salmon skin salad was also ok, but the soft shell crab was probably the best out of the bunch.

I’d reorder from this spot again but only the sushi I thought was good from this delivery. Overall the quality was descent but lack of what I asked for on the side is what lessened the experience. I just asked for eel sauce and tempura sauce which were missing, but overall it was...
