Great new addition to the neighborhood! I stopped by right after they first opened in September and they've been consistent ever since. They have all the usual meats, as well birria or barbacoa depending on the night. The warm consume while you wait taste like home. Their carne asada and chicken is grilled over charcoal so you get nice smokey flavor.
Two major standouts are the variety of salsas they offer. All made fresh with real produce and no shortcuts. The nopales are also a nice treat! Yolanda, the owner, also runs a fruit stand in Chinatown so all of her aguas are fantastic. She has a variety of flavors including passionfruit, sour sop, and pineapple.

I rarely write reviews but this spot was a real standout. Asada was well seasoned and grilled over smoky mesquite. Killer variety of salsas and great agua frescas. I had the cucumber but also sampled the passionfruit and sour sop.
The owners were also so kind and went out of their way to make us feel good… afterwards I walked down to compare the two…...
