A rather strange memorial space perched just across from the main entrance to Dodger Stadium. The space is not in any way clearly marked, and you end up in the middle of it before you realize you are. There isn't much more than a stone marker with metal tablet. The space itself doesn't seem to be well cared for. There's no clear way to enter or exit the space, with a number of small trails leading to it, but, oddly, not from the street that sees the most traffic. Read moreBeen to all the comparable parks (Everett and Vista Hermosa) and while they are both incredibly lovely, Victory Memorial Grove is definitely my favorite. Parking is incredibly easy compared to the others and it is bigger AND much less crowded than the rest (as can be seen by the lack of reviews). Also, since it's so close to Sunset, there are multiple places to get food (or beer) from before walking over. This park is truly the most hidden gem...

Terrific views of downtown, Chinatown, Dodger's Stadium, the San Gabriel Mountains, Mount Wilson, the Hollywood Sign and Griffith Observatory... Take it slowly.
