The Great White Hut has my favorite fries in Los Angeles. Their Loaded Fritas Fries are amazing. You can pick from the 4 PreDetermined ones or you can build your own. I always choose to Build my own, because I have control over what I want. My go to Fritas is Carne Asada, Feta Cheese, and Sliced Avocados, with the Spicy Garlic Aioli Sauce (Not Too Spicy), and the Avocado Cream Sauce. Can you tell I love Avocados. I also tend to get their single cheeseburger with Avocado(Of Course) and this is a meal that fills me up when I'm super hungry. This is their newest location and as a fan, I wanted to check out their new look store. I have been to a couple of their other locations, and this is my favorite location as far as Atmosphere and Ambience, they did a great job with the interior decorations as well. Might I add it is super clean, and the staff takes pride in maintaining the cleanliness of the location. I ordered with Lupe and she was wonderful, she was patient and had a great smile and a welcoming that was genuine. WIll definitely be recommending this to my friends who live within the area. Great Job The Great White Hut, can you please now open a location in the Valley, as I visit my son there and they don't have anywhere with great loaded fries like you guys do. Keep up the good work. Thank you for satisfying my...
Read moreThis place has only been open a few weeks. The existing reviews are nothing like what I've experienced. I own a local barbershop. We've already had lunch here twice and we have no complaints. They used real carne asada on my fiesta fries. The guacamole was yummy. The burgers are big and juicy. I mean, this place can take out Patra's any time! I actually think those bad reviews are from the local burger joints who don't try to please their customers but instead sat and wrote bad reviews on this place. The prices here are the lowest you can find in the area. McDonald's charges nearly $5 for their nasty, frozen French fries. You can get a meal on top of your fries here at The Great White Hut for $8. That's less than a combo at McDonald's. I felt full after only eating half my order. I was intimidated to try this place because they do serve Mexican dishes. The pictures online show nothing but fair skinned Americans cooking. There's quite a few Latinos working at this location. I love it!
Hey, GWH employees. Great job! Drop in with your work badge and we'll give you a cut...
Read moreI heard about the Great White Hut and learned that they had finally opened in Echo Park. Overall, I think this place is pretty decent but not great. To be fair, I will check this place again in the future to see if my initial review was fair. Hopefully, things have improved.
Food was good with a wide selection of food choices with fair pricing. This location has a good ambiance and features a small dining room, a very small parking lot, but to be honest, if you live nearby, just walk or take a ride share service here.
The service was ok, and honestly, they could do better. One suggestion is to have orders complete before dishing out food. Five minutes to get sauce and drinks as your food gets cold isn't ideal. Cold hamburger buns and cold fries aren't good. The staff should be wiping down tables after guests leave. No restroom available. No fountain drinks, just canned sodas or non alcoholic...
