Tender Greens — Restaurant in Los Angeles

Tender Greens is one of my go to places. At Century City, Tender Greens is located directly across from the movie theater. I'm leaving a review because Tony (manager/owner) provided over the top customer service. Now, my phone was at 10% and I was hoping to be in and out, so I would have battery to order a lyft. So mentally I was in a rush, but Tony nor the TG team knew that. I ordered my food per the use, and about 5mins later my timer goes off, but for some reason my food wasn't ready. I wasn't tripping but the TG team was super nice about finding out what the issue was. Tony comes over 2mins later and apologizes for the confusion, says hes going to make my order personally and offers me a free desert. Tbh I was shocked because in my mind, it wasn't any fault of theres just a simple mistake at buzzing me, but to them and Tony, no mistake was to small. I really appreciated him for offering the desert. 2mins later my food was done and he offered me another drink for the road. Even though I declined both, again it was the simple gesture that I appreciated the most. Racist or Careless ? Went last Saturday with my family was there about 30 minutes before closing and I feel so dissatisfied with the customer service and food !!! So many complaints not sure where to start. The line was long for no reason when we get to the front we are told there is no chicken but one which is chipotle ! Why not tell the entire line or have someone at the door to tell everyone. So we aren’t wasting our time !!! We didn’t get bread with our meal when it’s included !!! We didn’t get drinks that we bought and had to wait almost until closing for them to bring us both ! My poor daughters mouth was hot from the only chicken they had and she has a food allergy so she couldn’t get any other meat !!!not to mention the chicken was dried out possibly due to the cook refusing to make food an hr before they closed. I am appalled, I seen other people get the correct order and even checked on . Is it due to our African American skin ? I truly hope not ! Can’t think of any other reason .
