By its appearance I wasn't really expecting a lot. It's a small restaurant located in a strip mall, you seat yourself and when your done eating you can take your bill up to be paid. With that being said I wasn't really expecting a lot in terms of quality food and great service but I received both.
I got the dinner special Chicken Chop Suey. The special graciously offered fried rice, an egg roll and started soup for a really great price. I would recommend getting a veggie dish or a non rice/non noodle dish for the dinner/lunch special because the fried rice portion was large enough where you could certainly feel satisfied. In general the portions here were large enough to have leftovers. But overall the Chicken Chop Suey was an awesome dish and quite tasty.
Service was bit dispassionate in that no one is actively going around seeing if your ready to order or escorting you to your seat its more of a blasé approach but not without a sense of kindness. The older woman who served us was super sweet and was helpful when it came to navigating the menu. She was even great about allowing us to get the non-pork soup option when ordering the dinner special. So as far a service goes I was completely satisfied.
Wasn't really expecting much but enjoyed the...
Read moreYou can’t get any better than this! I’ve been going to this restaurant ever since I was a little kid. Hell, even before my little brother was born! The times we’ve eaten here had been the best times of my life! The atmosphere, the food, the staff and everything in between makes for a lovely place to spend your money on! However ever since the pandemic had started we haven’t had the chance to sit-in and enjoy the food inside the restaurant itself. That doesn’t change the fact you can order take-out though! In a way you take a part of the restaurant itself with you home!
The prices are fantastic for what you get, not to mention the amounts of flavor you’ll be receiving will be worth it. I’m especially fond of the seven sea soup that comes with a good portion size of white rice on the side. But if you’re looking for an even more of a delightful experience then I would suggest you order a plate of shrimp fried rice. You heard right, a plate! The portion sizes are really acceptable for the price you’ll be paying. Especially when buying yourself a nice refreshing Thai ice tea! The perfect drink to wash down a...
Read moreThis place is the best type food in town. But they’re closed on Wednesdays oh no. Because I went there last night and I walked all the way back home to James M Wood and Alvarado. I was so psyched to have such an awesome dinner of chili mint leaf Beef, Thom kai guy soup Coconut milk and chicken Yum. And pineapple fried rice with extra .pineapple’s.Unfortunately by the time I got home I had finished my large Thai tea. I was shocked and surprised that they gave me steamed white rice I didn’t pay for. This rice what was heaven. Like it came out of a coconut belly or something just a touch of coconut it was awesome. However I didn’t get extra pineapples and I got some sort of Bellpepper onion dish. I can’t stand onions and I think the peppers are for pizzas. But I thought no problem I’ve been there before I’ll just call tomorrow. But you guys are closed on Wednesdays so I guess I will call you on Thursday Grrr Thank you! PS Next time I’m going to have to check before I leave. But it was so well pact that I was able to work with that for like half a mile without...
