Read moreEven though I love this Mexican place, the food is delicious, but I will never go back to la parrilla because of the customer service. They made us wait so long, because I wanted to substitute one of the meats on my order for another and a lady said that's going to be more money. I told her money is no concern just bring my food the away I ordered it I will pay the difference. The lady was so rude and racist. From the first moment of our interaction she did not say hello or welcome, anything I told her she would shake her head before she would let me finish speaking. And I feel that I said because money is no concern just get the order right she took it personal and took forever to get our food to our table. So when I reached boiling point of my patience I asked for her name to make a complaint, that's when she stepped up the service and brought our food to our table a little quicker. Although she brought the food much quicker this time, it was cold and undercooked which is very dangerous considering there were pork products on our plate. And for these reasons I much rather go to El Taurino restaurant on 11th and Hoover, because I've been going there for 30 years and they never did anything to...
Read moreVery disappointed. We have held small parties and graduations here for the past decade and we won’t be coming back. The quality in food has decline significantly .We decided to go to the restaurant for Mother’s Day and we were completely disappointed. I understand the wait because of Mother’s Day but it took 1 1/2 to get our food. They were out of everything including meat, aguas frescas and generic sodas. The food tasted weird, sour and old. One of our family members even got sick. Nearby tables made complaints to the manager about the sour taste and not informing us there was missing meat in the plates . The waiters were overall nice and accommodating but overworked and tired. They had three waiters for the entire restaurant to the point that the cooks and manager were serving. No offers of refills. The quantity of meat has reduced and prices has increased. Cleanliness can be better. Advice: 1) have a better sitting process 2) although covid numbers are improving, continue cleaning properly 3 ) do not continue to bring in huge parties and have them seated if you cannot attend to them ... quality is what brings people in. People will keep coming even if it...
