I was referred to this office by my PCP. I made my appointment and the day before it I receive a call from the office saying they needed to cancel my appointment because they don't take straight Medi-Cal and I don't have a Preferred IPA. I called two different contacts one being HealthNet as well as reviewed my referral authorization. Nothing is wrong with my insurance, I do have a Preferred IPA, and my referral hasn't expired. I called Dr. Kades office multiple times just to be sent to voicemail and hung up on twice, one of those times I can hear one of the nurses talking about another patients information and once they heard me say Hello then they hung up. When they finally picked up I was put on hold with only 2 people ahead of me. I told them about my referral and what the HealthNet and other contact said and they looked into their system and still I couldn't be seen. I needed to make my appointment so I can possibly find out what is wrong with me and I feel discriminated against, if HealthNet tells me there is nothing wrong with my insurance how can they say it is. Very disappointed and...
Read moreDr Wagdy Kades is a wonderful doctor and takes the time to hear his patients concerns and clarifies all medical treatment to ensure understanding and the treatment journey. The front office staff are wonderful ladies who share all Financials expectations and how they manage claims with insurance. Let's not forget the medical staff who help the doctor intake patients symptoms. At First the office may appear uptight because they clearly understand that the doctor must review history, blood work, and imaging results before making promises. But after a few visits, you learn everyone's name and their commitment to good care. Having to see a Rheumatologist is not an easy journey since pain is always a common symptom but having mutual respect is key to a wonderful patient and doctor relationship. Mistakes can be made throughout this journey but the staff and doctor has the highest standards of excellent quality care for the patient. So a little patience and understanding is needed. Thank you Dr Kades and staff for helping me overcome the challenges in my...
Read moreDr Kades has been such a blessing. His office is clean, the staff is friendly and fast/efficient. Dr Kades has the best bedside manner, he was very informative and knowledgeable and overall made me feel well taken care of.
*Updating my review because 90% of my experience with this office outside of my direct contact with Dr Kades has been less desirable. On my last visit the women at the front desk didn’t acknowledge me at checkin, not one word. On my first visit they were a little short with words (and not very warm) which I thought was odd as a first time patient but the nurse that called me back was friendly so between that and the positive interaction with Dr Kades I just wrote it off as an off day. However I tried to call after to get a follow up appointment to go over bloodwork results and was refused. They also told me he wouldn’t treat something simple that showed up on a urinalysis he ordered so there was a refusal of care. Over all the front office staff is just difficult to deal with so for that I will be seeking...
