Hi again, updating my review after speaking with my neighbor because I want to be clear that the apartment building itself is nice and has everything that anyone could need but I want to be honest in letting everyone know that there is constant noise pollution from helicopters & small planes mostly. I was born and raised in LA county and Iâve never dealt with noise pollution like Iâm dealing with now. Literally as Iâm typing this there are two helicopters hovering over the building, LAPD helicopter being one of them. Again for clarity, the building, the management, and the apartment itself is great but the constant noise from LAPD can be quite a disruption but if youâre used to it it may not be a big deal. All neighborhoods donât deal with this and definitely not on an ongoing basis. Itâs something that I think would benefit management to actually address with the city.
12/23/2022: 1:35AM, guess who is back circling over the neighborhood and flashing lights? LOL
12/2022: Another night of LAPD helicopters circling over the building. Not healthy at all.
11/22/22: LAPD helicopter pilots have been flying in the area for almost 2 hours. Issues that could be resolved with investments in the community are instead not being resolved by involving the police state. Again the building and staff I have no problem with even though they did try to enter my apt without proper notice on a day I just happened to be home, but the biggest complaint is the area just has too much going on and the police helicopters are too much. Literally as I type this an LAPD helicopter has been circling for almost 2 hours which is crazy! Dealing with that noise every day isn't normal. 09/29/22: Helicopters were going from 2AM-3AM and the fire alarm at the building has been going off for two days now. No sleep!
07/31/22: The police/some form of police seem to be here everyday. Not sure how safe I feel with armed militia/helicopters actively flying over my often all day and night. Something to consider. This apartment building is a NICE place. I have no problems with management at ALL. The problem is the local community needs investments and all they are getting is more armed police! Again at 3AM this morning, an LAPD helicopter pilot was flying in circles and flashing lights into the building. Please consider if you're thinking of moving anywhere in LA but especially in DTLA.
05/26/22: neighbor went out of my apartment to drop the trash and police where here again with weapons drawn at a residents door. Told my neighbor (that was at my place) to turn back around and go back in.
Update 4/23/22: You will be listening to LAPD helicopters all day and night hoovering over the building. The noise & fuel pollution isn't worth it. LAPD is really destroying the quality of the building itseslf! I have over 10 videos of LAPD heavily circling over the apartment community at all hours of the day and night.
update 03/16/22; Around 2:45AM this morning LAPD helicopters were circling over the complex for more than 20 minutes. The helicopter was flashing lights into the apartments of residents. Neighbors looking out the windows were nervous of course. There were police inside the complex as well by the stairs, some of them with weapons drawn (a shotgun). My review of the apt is the same, it's a decent/nice building. But is the price worth LAPD flying helicopters everyday/all day over your unit????!
Update 01/06/2022; It's 11PM at night at LAPD has been circling the apartment for over 30 minutes causing heavy pollution! The aggressive use of helicopters in this area really brings down the vibe of the apartment complex itself which isn't bad. LAPD is abusing its position and causing pollution to this community that has to listen to helicopters at all hours of the night. Literally at 4AM this morning they were flying overhead again. These petty crimes are happening because of poverty, LAPD polluting the community isn't helping to...
Read more08/30/25: This area has some of the worst noise pollution and the outside conditions are in decline. It has potential but you can't really live off potential. As someone mentioned below issues with water going out has been a problem including tonight after 9:00PM it is randomly off. Also LAPD and corporate media helicopter pilots are constantly flying, circling and hovering the area still. A pilot just flew overhead so low that the inside of the apartment started shaking. This might vary for each tenant depending what floor your on. If you're OK with dealing with that type of thing constantly then this place is for you.
Update 6/15/2025; Woke up this morning before 9AM to an LAPD helicopter pilot circling overhead and corporate media hovering. The day before a small plane was flying over the rooftop. This region is just not suitable for every day living. Literally as I type this I can feel a helicopter pilot on the roof vibrating the community. You can't live off potential my health is being negatively impacted by this constant disruption. The place itself has a lot of great things about it but the area is not quite desirable and it can have a negative impact on your mood long term.
Update 6/10/2025; Same issues. I'm planning to move as soon as I can. I haven't had any real issues with the place itself but the outside is problematic at times and the aviation noise pollution from helicopters is horrid. Today there were 4-5 helicopters over the area and it's pretty constant piercing the walls of the building. This place again is actually really nice but our air space and other sources of noise pollution are disrupting the living conditions.
Update 1/5/2025; The area is up and coming. No complaints truthfully as I'm grateful for my space though the noise pollution is still somewhat of a problem bc of all the asphalt surrounding the building and echoing sound pollution. LAPD and other helicopter pilots are still an issue as well but amenities of the place are pretty good/maintenance is very responsive.
Bouncing off what others have said recently about the parking, yes if you have guests over as of the New Year, it can only be in the evening it sounds like as management reserves the guest parking spots in the morning to be utilized for non resident guest needs but you can reserve a guest spot in the evening for $10 if a spot is available through a 3rd party app. Not a lot of street parking in the area so keep that in mind with visitors they will need to take the bus/train, bike, walk, pay for parking at a meter (Sunday is free) or a garage nearby, find free street parking (almost impossible) or get a guest pass for $10 if parking spots are available. The parking is a monthly fee with your rent which actually isn't that much. The third party app is $35 a year I believe after the first year. Just an FYI and management can confirm if you decide to visit the place.
Rating 7/10.
Update: Still actually really like my place but the noise pollution is really bad. Today there is someone blowing a loud leaf blower that is echoing sound into the apartments. Helicopters and small planes in the area as well but overall, place is great.
Regarding the unit: I love my place, the cleaning staff in the building is great. One of the biggest issues is the noise of the area and lack of green space. The area has potential but there are constantly small planes and helicopters flying over head especially LAPD making some days unbearable with noise pollution especially if you work from home but recently the city council has brought forward a motion to possibly address that issue so that could help. It seems to have become a problem all over LA within the last 10 years or so.
Anyway my overall experience at this place is fairly good. The building and the amenities are really nice and again this area has serious potential but it is a work...

I want to give a special shout out to IRODA (Management) for always being understanding and attentive to my questions and concerns. She goes above and beyond to make sure you leave that office with questions answered and having any problems solved. I know from my experience she will make you truly feel like a resident and not just a number to fill up space.
And shout out to the Security team (Chris) and the rest of the guys, they truly do go above and beyond to ensure the safety and security for the residents by providing presence at the entrance AND the exits. When I see Chris the man is either doing his perimeter walks, checking on vehicles and or is present in general. He really is a go to guy that definitely takes the words âif you see something say somethingâ & to the rest of the security team that we have now follow suit as well. Really good guys all around. I know for my self and other residents in the building constantly thank them for their service. We appreciate you guys keep up...
