Update...it has been one month and seating is still ridiculous. This post reflects my visit on 2-15-25 where the Handicap table that seats 4 had no chairs. The long table big enough for 6 had only 4 chairs. That left 4 small tables for 2 but only 3 had 2 chairs. The 4Th had no chairs. If it hadn't rained and was wet outside customers could have sat outside but... It was also only 56 degrees at 10:30 a.m. Corporate thanked me for the info on my post but nothing has changed. Never have seen skimpy seating at any Starbucks and plus they have chairs galore! Just saying.. want to hang with friends over coffee, look elsewhere.
Limited seating available. Less tables and 6 missing chairs for tables that staff says they don't know where those chairs went? Employees are cordial and patient but need better seating for customers. The largest table marked Handicapped had 4 older healthy and able bodied men who saw the elderly gentleman limping with a cane looking for a place to sit and ignored his dismay at not being able to sit down.🫤I was waiting to meet someone and saw there was no seating so knew we wouldn't be staying to sit and chat with our coffee. But I couldn't stay silent after watching this elderly man attempt to hoist himself into a bar height chair by the counter which he couldn't manage with his cane! I asked a single college student who was not using her 2 tables with 4 chairs (except to put her purse, laptop and her feet on the empty chairs) if I could have the extra table and one of her 4 chairs. She nicely agreed and I pulled the table for 2 out away from hers and took one of her 4 chairs and invited the elderly man to sit down. He said I should sit down but said I wouldn't be staying. He was grateful but employees should ask customers of 1-2 to please not take up seating for 2-4. (Or hire me as the table...

However, I wanted to be noticed and this store routinely prepares our favorite drink, the Vanilla Ice Blended, with chunks of unblended ice that block the large straw. Today was no different... but it should have been. A few couple of months ago, we happened to meet the manager of the store and told her that the Northridge store is the only one we've visited that has this problem. West LA, Magic Mountain, Ventura Blvd., even the store inside a gas station near the Salton Sea, make the Blended with a smoothie-like consistency, no chunks. She told us it was one of the blenders that caused the issue and it would be remedied. Well, the last two visits a week apart and there is still a problem, possibly when the offending blender is used but I don't watch the staff to see which one is selected. I first looked for a way to contact either the store or corporate directly today but CBTL's contact form is non-existent, only the international links appear on the website. Maybe someone will listen now. I almost forgot, using the app for a points reward? That doesn't appear to be working either. This is the second time the "free drink" was not free but, at least this time, I noticed the 450 pts were deducted from my balance anyway. Read moreIt was my first time ordering at this specific location and it went horrible. When I first got there they were really busy and seemed back up. When it was my turn to order I asked the price difference between large and xlarge but instead she told me the price difference between Medium and Large so I just sticked with a large. She ended up giving me a Large Chai Latte, I told her it was the wrong drink and told her it was the same drink that my friend got who was an order behind me. She was nice enough to remake my drink but instead gave me and my friend small when we had paid for large. I told her that I paid for a large and she seemed to give an attitude and gave her co worker my order. I received my large drink but my friend's drink was still the wrong size and I told them and instead of helping her they just began arguing on what we had ordered. I understand that they are backed up and everything but that doesn't mean they have to be rude. I was continuously apologizing throughout this whole experience but never seem to get an apology back from them.
