I had to come there from Santa Clarita, for an accident report! They told me they don't have an accident or an injury report! Wow! And a GM who doesn't carry business cards.. Made him aware that his maitre d' promised me that he would call back..by 2:30, I show him the broken bag, my receipt for car damage, I would initially have accepted the food remade!. I was promised on the phone that he would resolve it. Three calls later found me driving my Rent a car, (my 2022 911 Carrera) was at detail shop with $280 dollars fee) to get fish stains and odor out of my carpet..!
7:30 p.m. rolls around, the GM never even got the message. I go there with intentions to have the food replaced. Stood there being treated like I did not exist!. Asked for help.. The same person who says the GM would call me, ( Maitre d' minus) is standing there talking to him. However, he again, gives me a total runaround. I presented the bag, with fish soup all over the broken bottom, my receipt, The man just jerked me around for 35 minutes!. No one cares how you bagged our food..The bag broke! You've waisted hours of my time, costing me 330 dollars and you tell me your going to check the cameras?.
The bag broke in our car, a new car. So this resturaunt ads insult to injury!
I will be filling a suit in small claims now.. Gee, and to think that we would just trust the resturaunt management to just replace our food.
Completely unreasonable, completely arrogant, completely unacceptable, now you will be served for negligence and breach of reasonable care .
See you in Chatsworth court! It was a mistake assuming that your resturaunt has ANY consideration for its customers or for that matter assumes responsibility for liability that it has for injuries and damages --breech of service causes. Well, you want to take the hard line, let's see what a judge thinks.

We felt uncomfortable and then he proceeded to tell us we cannot come back if we did not tip about 3 times repeatedly . We were a party of 4 and tipping is not required by law in the state of California or in Wokano restaurants. We did not tip because we felt we had bad service. The manager then procceded to walk and tell all the servers we did not tip and they all stared at us at the same time and were giving us really bad stares until basically kicking us out of the restaurant.I struggle with anxiety and their actions completely emotionally distressed me. My partner felt attacked and mainly discriminated by us being the only people of color in the restaurant and being targeted on our payment right before leaving. We were about to leave and we knew we had to complain and ask to speak to the manager and the guy who had just told us off and basically banned us was the manager and acted like he was not in office and told the host infront Neveah to tell us to call another day. We called again today and the manager Shun said we are banned from coming back because of not tipping. We expressed how we had bad service and felt discriminated and he had not on ounce of empathy while asking if we can come back. He said we are not allowed back. Please do not come here. They will intimidate you with tipping and he did not apologize for us feeling discriminated by his server and thus for our lack of tip. We called different Wokano restaurants and they all stated that tipping is only required with a party...
Read moreI’ve been to this location before and honestly I was disappointed , however I wanted to give it the benefit of the doubt . Well, it was disappointing again . I actually was hoping it would be better as far as food quality since I was celebrating a birthday . To begin , the baked crab handroll was greasy , not baked at all . The calamari was huge chunk pieces of fried rubber basically with raw jalapeño (disappointing ) the crab wontons were burnt and barely any filling . Tossing the salad we got was basically the only one thing they got right . The young chow fried rice was very cold and so was the orange chicken . To our surprise , all the food was served at the table within 5 minutes , I mean ALL , appetizer , and entrees all served at the same time and entrees were cold . Which means the food was not prepared as ordered . I did tell the waiter to please give us time to start eating our appetizer before bringing entrees . We were not there when they were about to close so no excuse on trying to rush us to eat . The food was not good at all , the first time and the second time more disappointing than before . I’ve been to other Wokcano locations and this is by far the worse with food quality and mid with atmosphere (they can improve their lighting and table decor ) the menus are just some plain pieces of paper . The service was average , when we told the server our food was cold he just walked away mumbling who knows what and went and call the waiter which took some time . Overall disappointing . Sad it is in such a nice location but can’t keep up with other Wokcan locations...
