Wonder Cha Tea Place — Restaurant in Los Angeles

I consider myself somewhat of a boba snob, so when a new shop opens, I start as a skeptic. I was lucky enough to find out about Wonder Cha’s soft opening and was able to sample all of their top teas.

Their signature Ruby Red was absolutely delicious! The Silken Jade is also a standout. I had the pleasure of meeting the owners at the soft open and they explained all of the craft that went into perfecting their teas.

I ordered the Mango Milk Tea to go since I so rarely find this combo and it is my new favorite milk tea in the LA area! Everyone also knows the true mark of success for a boba place is their boba… and I am very pleased to report that the boba is perfect in texture, with a true hint of honey.

WOAH. New favorite boba shop??! I think YES! I got the Phoenix Blossom Milk Tea with Honey Boba and let me tell ya… 👏IT 👏DID 👏NOT 👏DISAPPOINT. Their honey boba is the perfect texture and sweetness, and the tea is simply EXQUISITE! So flavorful and comforting:) Angela helped me out at the register and was super joyful and pleasant to talk to. I spoke with another lady there as well (unfortunately didn’t catch her name), and she was awesome! Plus they made it quick! I would consider myself an amateur boba connoisseur, and believe me when I say that great milk tea boba doesn’t always come with great service…but at Wonder Cha, you get BOTH with flying colors!!!! Boba was delicious! I loved the energy that the shop and the employees had. They gave us a brief story of how they came to be and the dedication the owners put into it. The cashier gave us her recommendations on how much sugar to add and which one is their favorite.

As we waited I loved the ambiance the shop had! As an anime fan myself I loved every aspect of the decor. To the music, the walls, to even the ceiling, everything gave an anime-esque feeling which I appreciated.

I got the Red Ruby drink and I loved that it was not too sweet and not too bitter. It was the perfectly brewed and mixed in with the milk perfectly!

Price wise it was reasonably priced.
