I was in town visiting family, ordered the donuts with bacon. The bacon was wickedly rubbery. I called to speak to someone about my dissatisfaction, the employee said, “Oh, well. Other people like them, so we can’t really do anything about it.”
I’m sure these donuts literally cost 10 cents to create, and I just paid $10 for three (includes tax).
Their management team needs to teach their employees that making a customer unhappy will cost them thousands of dollars over the course of years.
The proper response would have been, “I’m so sorry your experience was not to your satisfaction, please allow us to make it up to you, and we’ll make sure you have a fresh batch next time you come in, it’s on us”.
Or offer a refund.
To add, we purchased two “Elvis” donuts, which were the donuts that contained the rubbery bacon, which my wife and I don’t recommend. For the “uh-oh” donut, the dough was very chewy and not the good kind, as if it was an old batch, but I’m not sure because I’ve never tried their donuts before, albeit I went after 7:00 pm, which is a cardinal sin for donut consumers. I still expect satisfactory quality and service though.
Their donuts seem to be overpriced, and I just perhaps had a a bad batch because my wife and her family enjoys this place thoroughly.
I will consider trying Mochinut again if the management actually cares to make up for the poor customer service and poor quality product.
I understand finding employees that treat your business like it was yours is difficult (I’m a business owner too), but I was embarrassed for your company’s response to my dissatisfaction.
By the way, I’m not the type of person to be negative and complain incessantly, but the owner definitely needs to train their employees on customer service.
On a brighter note, my kid was very excited to do the little toy machines for the $2 tokens.
The lighting is good, andthe wall decorations are nice. It would be more aesthetically pleasing if all storage boxes up top were behind some sort of wall to hide them because it’s literally the first thing you see when you walk in, but not a big deal, and maybe they’re on their way to addressing that. I’d recommend a curtain. So, it’s a solid business idea and business model if the management can shape up a bit more.

The level of disappointment I had after eating the korean corn dogs from here is not even describable.
THEY WERE DISGUSTING 🤮🤢🤮.
I ordered 2 Korean corn dogs {1 Hot Cheeto all mozzarella 0/10 & 1 ramen all mozzarella 1/10},
1 Thai Iced tea Boba 0/10 & 1glaze donut 5/10.
The HOT CHEETO Korean corn dog didn't even taste like hot Cheeto and was so grease logged it was hard to stomach and made me sick to my stomach, the ramen corn dog was not full of grease but was bland, the Thai boba was disgusting and tasted nothing like Thai Tea it didn't have enough ice and was barely cold, the donut was the most appetizing thing but was not worth its price. This place has ruined me to ever try another Korean corn dog or boba tea. THERE SEATING IS VERY LIMITED AND they were busy for the life of me I can't see why maybe because it's all highschool kids wasting mom and dads money. 💰 The staff is very rushy but friendly I guess. I HAD TO WAIT TO SIT TO EAT. They called me for my beverage way before my food was ready and i went to get it the guy was annoyed I took to long and walked off right as I was able to get through the crowd to get my drink and I had to wait for someone else to get their attention to get my stuff. The music was too loud to even hear them calling your number with the crowd of noisy people. I SPENT 24 DOLLARS I WOULD HAVE RATHER THROW MY MONEY IN THE TRASH THEN...
Read moreFrom Mochi donuts to Korean Rice Dogs... They make it all fresh and all day. From what I'm told, they cycle through their flavors biweekly, sundays and thursdays. So you'll always get a fresh flavor palette!
So far, my favorite flavors are Churro & Pandan... Definitely check those out if they're available. Mochi donuts are so much better than regular donuts, not overly sweet with a nice chewy feel. Definitely something to try if you've never had it.
Next up are the dogs, so many different ways to mix it up for your best made concoction. Panko, Cereal, Potato; Hot Dog (beef), Cheese, or half/half; Hot Cheetos or sauces... the combinations are all up to...
