As someone who uses delivery platforms to Courier food to people, This is one of the worst Merchants to conduct business with, and sadly it does not seem to matter which location. tonight I'd picked what should have been a fairly simple order to prepare, yet also very expensive considering it was take out considering it was take out and considering it was take out also through a third party. These orders come directly from the platform so there is no confusion on what is to be prepared. It is very specific. Not only were they out of a very pertinent item to this order, the only thing ready was the portion of the order that was made with egg. Why is it that this place always makes the egg portion of the meal first? Anyone that is working in a kitchen that primarily serves breakfast should know that you don't prepare the egg meal until the very end. But that's a whole other issue. This place is IHOP. You sell pancakes. Why, for any reason whether is takeout, dine-in.. After church Rush.. does anyone who is a patron to this chain have to wait 20 to 30 minutes for two stacks of pancakes? I do get that sometimes these things happen when the restaurant is very busy, but for them to be constantly understaffed, or having new cooks.. Which are the excuses I get each time this happens, but that only tells me that there is a problem with management directly and whoever is running the certain area. It would also even be a little understandable if there was literally more than one table dining in at the time that i am picking these orders up. It's a shame because they really could get a lot more business but I can tell you at least half of the customers I have delivered to work very unhappy with the experience because of this restaurant in particular. I will say that there were two young ladies who tried to be very helpful, but it was almost evident that the cook was giving them a hard time about the food. It was also pretty evident that these two young ladies were fairly new as they seemed a bit nervous and intimidated by the two, what I assumed were waitresses, sitting down playing with each other's hair and making rude comments about things they don't like about their job including customers period. Especially customers in fact lol.. Which is also very concerning to me considering that customers are actually what makes up more than half of their income considering they are tipped employees... anyway, I stopped eating at these chains a long time ago. We used to go every weekend until the food we ordered was so inconsistent and even sometimes hilarious how unrealistic the experience was. Food can be great if someone somewhere cared enough to train this staff in a way that works out for everyone involved. I am not someone who believes the customer is always right, but I am someone who believes that it's really not too good for business when you are waiting for a takeout order and all you hear is people yelling and cursing in the back and blame shifting instead of just making the food they forgot to make in the first place or made incorrectly. Where is the professionalism in this place? Anyone I've encountered that seem to be a great asset to this company seems to have disappeared overnight because they were bullied out. Just my observation.. And I frequent this establishment several...
Read moreI came in about an hour ago with my kids. We were the only guests. The manager (forgot her name already sorry) she has red hair, she was super sweet, greeted us, sat us, took our orders and everything was great... until the server arrived! My 9 year old son immediately says she's having a bad day. I laughed it off as I've ran a few restaurants myself, so I get it sometimes. But then the server was slamming things down, fussing on her phone all in plain sight of our table, we sat in the booth right across from the expo line so even when she was in there we were seeing and hearing everything smh Another guest walks in with his kids, the waitress greeted them somewhat decently and seats them. Then she walks back and she passes our table she says I'll be with you in a moment. I said you're good we've been taken care of already. She says I know, but she used my number, so if you need anything, I could get it, I said your good dear, we're done. She turned and rolled her eyes. At that point I said it sounds like you need something, she turned back around and I told her I really hope her night gets better because guests shouldn't have to see and hear all what my kids and I did. She then began telling me how her manager called her to come in and when she came there was only 1 table, but she was rushing her and she needed to go to her apartment because the property manager called her and she wasn't expecting that. And the manager doesn't know how to talk to people so she was mad that while she was on the phone on the expo line the manager asked her could she hear the guests, first she said huh and then she slammed her ear peice off her ear and says yes I can hear them. I know that part because we saw it ourselves. (If you couldn't understand that timeline don't worry, i couldn't keep up either and saying all this in front my 9 and 6yr old) There's more I could definitely keep going but long story short, fire the server that is working right now! And give the manager that left for 6pm a raise!! I know staffing challenges are hard right now and it's slim pickings... but that server isn't a pick at all. Sorry! I felt bad leaving the man with his 2 young sons in there with her. It was a very uncomfortable situation!! I can't imagine the conversations she may have with them because I left knowing way too much about her personally! Oh, our food was great though! Give the chef a raise! I wouldn't doubt it if the manager wasn't in the back cooking our food though because that's how it looked. If so, even more reason why she...
Read moreNormally this is my preferred location to eat. All others I’ve had horrible experiences. While our waitress was great, the food was horrible. They didn’t have the initial item I requested. Guessing inventory isn’t managed accurately. What I requested and waited about 45 minutes to receive was undercooked and runny, which turned my stomach immediately. The server discussed with her manager which decided she wasn’t taking the uneaten food or our tab, which was fine, but shows lack of management skills. Our table was dirty, sticky hair left on the table with crumbs. Clearly they are short staffed, I’d say lack of management is the cause. Your district manager or area manager should visit and go through this location with a fine tooth comb to locate the problem. I’m assuming this is a new manager that I’ve witnessed berate and speak harsh to her team in front of customers. The problem with the location isn’t your servers, it’s management and possibly the cook. I’ve never had an issue with the food prior to today, so I’m guessing the cook is either new or have given up on trying to provide good food because of management. You should share this with the manager of the location, employees don’t leave a company they leave a manager. To be effective, disrespect and harsh speaking isn’t required! In order to create a great environment to work starts with her. If she can’t handle it she should step down or find a suitable position that her talents are more suited for. I’m speaking from a decade plus as a district manager with a team of 100+. Don’t allow that role to make you think you’re better than your team because they essentially have the ability to make or break you! My last 2 visits hasn’t been good, so time to evaluate yourself Miss Manager. I refer to you as a she because of the day you yelled and was extremely disrespectful to your team in front of us.your team continued to provide great service but you could tell they were embarrassed by your actions. Time for you to move in ma’am, this isn’t the...
