The store has a very open and cheerful atmosphere. They generally play"modern" music, and have comfortable (and considerable amount of) seating. If you are looking to sit in for a while with friends, they have board games past the sofa booth. They also have wifi and solo seating available if you wanted to bring your laptop and can work in a somewhat hectic sounding environment (depending on the level of focus required).
The menu is incredibly extensive, so be prepared, and try not to get overwhelmed! You are allowed to customize your tea, coffee, slush, yogurt, etc. with any bobas, jelly, bean, aloe, treats. You can reduce or increase the amount of sugar, and ice. They also do seasonal tea options, so be on the look out for those goodies.
They have the popular 'spice challenge' ramen packets, among other goodies at the register, which is cute
They also just started serving waffles! I haven't tried them yet, but I will my next visit.
So definitely check them out. The service is always good, their CSRs are kind and helpful, and the treats...
Read moreGreat place for all things BUBBLE TEA. I can honestly say, the menu is a tad bit overwhelming. I mean there are slushies, tea-based drinks, non-dairy drinks and the list goes on and on. Where's the cheat sheet? Then let's not even talk about the toppings (wide eyed stare). I can honestly say, "I wasn't ready..."
I found the cup sizes to be drastically different, which is a good marketing scheme. $4.75 for 8oz or just a quarter more for a 12oz; .25¢ for four more ounces... Which do you choose? No worries, we all know the answer. But keep in mind, most drinks are filled with ice... So there goes your .4oz & 25¢ more. Also they charge for the tapioca... I guess this made the norm as it's my 2nd time encountering such.
I also noticed, this seems like a hangout place; as I waited for my drink, I noticed some of people just chilling and watching movies etc on the iPad, as well as families dining/drinking in. This is a rare novelty to see, the families "dining/drinking in" as most folks are always 'on-the-go'.

Read moreIn visiting a family member in NOLA, we ventured out to the mall but wanted a taste of boba tea and lucked out with this little gem. Twice we've been in the last week of our stay and they do not disappoint.
I had the Ginger Milk Tea with boba and my daughter, the Thai Tea with boba. The drinks were so good we forgot to get pics each time. If we get to make a third trip, we'll remember to take pics.
The staff is friendly. The location central. Even when a little busy, you're made to feel comfortable, especially during this time of social distancing. Please remember to wear your face masks. It is requirement during this time of the CovId-19 pandemic.
Glad they are open and serving customers. It's times like these that separate great food, drink, and service from the mediocre and poor.
Kung-Fu Tea falls within the great category. Date of visit: July 2020
Update: Third visit. I had Red Bean Slushy and the teen had her usual....
