My girlfriend and I went to get breakfast here. I ordered a Croissant Sandwich, which I enjoyed very much. My girlfriend ordered the Breakfast Platter, and said it was ok. She commented on how the eggs tasted like they were powdered, and jazzed up a bit with green onions. To be fair, their grits were fire, so was the bacon.
One thing to note was their coffee cup sizes. I ordered a medium, my girlfriend a small, both "to go". I noticed the medium was taller than the small, but much more slim. When we got back to the apartment we filled up the small cup to compare the size to that of the medium one. Turns out they were exactly the same.
All in all it was an ok spot....
Read moreI can't comment on the coffee but I have eaten the from the lunch menu a few times. First off, the staff is usually very friendly so no issues there. The actual food itself is just too bland for my liking. I have eaten four different salads and they are never worth the price. The vinaigrettes always taste like 90% oil and 10% actual flavor. They use mostly romaine for their salads, which is fine except for when the salad is described as "mixed greens" and is still romaine with one or two spring leaves thrown in. It was bland. I sat there sadly eating my sandwich and reviewed the receipt. 3.25 for a drink, alright. But another .50 just to make it a combo.
