Update: After visiting the location I was pleased with the staff interactions. They were polite and professional and handled business.
Original: Didn't get a chance to eat the food. I was delighted when I pulled up the website to place an order and found out about "Moe Monday" where you get a burrito or bowl with chips, salsa, and a drink for $5.99. "YES", I thought as I put together my order. Once I was content with the contents of my burrito I clicked checkout. The screen changed from $5.99 plus tax for a total of $6.68 to $5.99 plus ghost charges to hit a grand total of $9.08 while showing only $0.90 sales tax (see attached pic). I realize this was some sort of error as there was no record of the additional charges anywhere and no fine print to be found regarding eligibility requirements for Moe Monday. I tried 3 more times all with the same outcome. From there I went to the "contact us" link at the bottom of the web page (see 2nd attached pic). "Participating locations" for contact us? What in the world is this? Realizing I wasn't getting anywhere going that route I attempted to call the number listed on the website which was identical to the google listing. There was no answer. So, I didn't get Moe's and experienced the disappointment you typically do when you're excited about something that falls hopelessly apart for reasons out of your control, and especially so considering it was regarding matters of...
Read moreIf I could give fewer stars, I would. I was very disappointed in Moe's when we went recently. For one, we hadn't been in since they changed the menu and were looking forward to it. I ordered something from the left-hand menu and wanted to add something to it. The first employee went along with it, but the second employee said they couldn't customize that. Apparently, that menu item is NEW, with no allowable substitutions or additions; however, nowhere on the menu does it say these things aren't allowed. Why not charge for the original menu item and add an uncharge, which I said I would pay? I also offered to pay for the "build your own," but these employees had no problem solving skills. I finally told them to throw it away, which they did. They remade without my asking (I just wasn't going to eat), and we paid for it anyway. Only ended up eating 25% and left the rest. Their comment was that corporate made whatever change, and I get that, but I was also trying to encourage them to tell the manager in hopes they could put up a disclaimer so other customers don't make the same mistake I did when trying to order said menu item. But they just shrugged their shoulders like they couldn't be bothered. I've been eating at Moe's periodically for the past 20+ years and never received such...
Read moreI normally do not write reviews but this place deserves it. The food is good and queso is great, that is not the issue. The issue is the staff and I assume management or lack there of. I have ordered several times from here and the last 3 times they "forget" to put the side/cup/bowl of queso with my order. Today I went in to get my order and they did it again, this time I checked and told them about it. Then they ask me if I want chips with my queso, I mean course i am not eating it with my fingers. There was another customer ordering in the line (I ordered to go) and they shorted her on her sides and cup of queso. So once they gave me my order I get home to find that the workers used my to-go bag to throw away their gloves and trash they used to make the food. That's nasty and extremely unprofessional, your hands sweat inside of gloves and then to dump them inside a customer's bag with their food. Absolutely disgusting and if your the manager of this place you should be ashamed. If you order make sure everything is right with your order and bag before you leave, basically stealing people's money.
TLDR Food is great, the staff needs to be fully replaced from...
