I have eaten their food in the restaurant a year ago and gave them another try, this time taking it to go. The place is a family oriented lunch only stop. The food was average at best with decent helpings but the menu is priced incorrectly for years on line according to the owner. The meru in the restaurant has oysters on it in 4 places and according to the owner and his hostess they havn't sold any for over a year and won't because of price. The Oyster dealers told me the price has been roughly the same since the BP disaster increase in April 2010. Regardless of the fact, thousands are still selling oysters in The New Orleans Area alone. Mr Roo's blamed Google for the on line mistakes, and Me for questioning why then is it on the printed menu and the large painted one on the wall on location. The owner said he has the correct pricing on his own website menu however it's been a month since I've been there and his Own website still list oysters 6 places - Salads, Sandwiches, Seafood Plates, Fried Seafood Combo Platter, Fried Seafood Platter, and Grilled Oysters and pasta . I drove across parish lines with a Local Flavor certificate and spent considerably a bit more to get an oyster po-boy and two seafood platters with oysters. That obviously was my mistake for believing their own website and their menu on site. I finally changed my order and paid. The hostess gave me $10 too much change. So when l found the extra, while waiting for my now totally different order that I came for, I returned the10 along with my guilt tip for not being a regular and knowing the menu is incorrect. Then instead of a "thank you", she gave me my just dessert and said, if I hadn't questioned her about the oysters and all the menu discrepancies, she would have never made the mistake in the first place. Realy?? I thought to myself, "This should be on Candid Camera!" Nobody would believe me! There was nothing Cozy about this experience! I felt like I was put in "Time Out"at a Reform School. I give them two stars; One for food, and the second for their simple arrogance of staying open one meal a day, no Sundays, in spite of their attitude. Please remember this when you look at reviews of restaurants with less than 100. This one had a dozen and probably from...
