This night was our first time eating at Qdoba. My plate was fine. I enjoyed the flavor, and I appreciated the quickness that I was able to get the food that I chose. Unfortunately, my spouse ordered beef soft tacos with shredded cheese. His order was prepared before mine, and it had been our intention to eat there. We had waited for about 3-4 others ahead of us. He noticed that the beef on his soft taco was cold, even after having being served directly off the line, which was steaming and looked as if it was hot. When he asked for more beef or something that was warm, the sales person became angry and made several comments basically implying that my spouse was either lying or being purposefully difficult. Several other people began arriving behind us, were waiting in line, and could hear her very negative comments. The manager who had sat down to eat himself made comments like “when am I supposed to eat.” Their comments were definitely in earshot, and they really made it seem as if my husband was just trying to make a big deal for no reason. He encouraged them to touch the meat themselves and noted that the shredded cheese had not even begin to melt or show signs that the beef was warm. Ultimately, we kept my food, but we left without my spouse eating. He never made a comment against the staff. I invited the server/ sales person to keep the meal for herself and she said she didn’t want it. Maybe the staff had a long busy day, but their responses were still unacceptable. One member of the staff did attempt to be cordial to us. The other quickly moved on to the next clients with a smile apparently happy to be rid of us. We probably won’t return to this particular Qdoba again. This is too bad since it is closer...
Read moreI usually enjoy Qdoba, but my last two visits were very disappointing. The first time, I placed a large online order for my family that was supposed to include free chips and queso. When I picked it up, I asked the employee if everything was in the bag—she didn’t bother to check and just said yes. Of course, when I got home, the chips and queso were missing. On top of that, my brother’s steak burrito had barely any steak (seriously, like six tiny pieces), and my mom’s bowl was basically just rice with barely any toppings.
Hoping it was just a one-time slip-up, I gave them another chance a few days later. Big mistake. I ordered in person this time, and the experience was just as frustrating. I wanted a quesobirria quesadilla (which they advertise online), but the guy taking my order acted like I was making something up, so I just settled for a burrito. The whole time I was ordering, I felt like they couldn’t wait to get rid of me—even though there was only one person behind me. I had to repeat myself multiple times because they clearly weren’t listening.
Then, when I asked another employee for more cilantro (since the container was empty), he flat-out told me they didn’t have any more. I find that hard to believe, considering how many dishes include it—it honestly seemed like he just didn’t want to go get more. They did give me free chips and queso to make up for things, but the queso cup was way smaller than the free queso I got for my birthday, which felt like yet another letdown.
Overall, these experiences felt like a mix of laziness, poor customer service, and a complete lack of attention to detail. Qdoba really needs...
Read moreI went to pick up the order that I made online today for lunch. When I walked in I had to wait 10 minutes to pick up an order that should have been ready. No big deal. The employee told me that my order was missing. It was very understandable. He said that he would make me another. The manager on duty told him no and he would have to look it up. The manager told me that my order has already been picked up and the order was closed out. I informed him that had nothing to do with me because I had just arrived and not received any food. He continued to go on about my order was closed out and the order was fixed 30 minutes ago. I wasn’t aware that food has to be picked up at the exact tome that it is ready. That was still not my issue because i didn’t make the mistake. Someone at their establishment did not do their due diligence and verify orders before giving them out.He then said he would help me out and fix my order. He also said that the only reason he was going to fix my order was because it was a single item. I guess if it was multiple orders he would not have.I asked him how that helping me out if I paid for the food and it was their mistake. This was such an embarrassing ordeal and the manager failed to apologize for their mistake and wasting my time.I plan to contact the corporate office as well. I go into this location often and this manager is usually friendly but today I felt as if he was insinuating that I was stealing and it was their fault my order was missing. The people who work there should verify orders before issuing them. The level of rudeness and I professionalism was at an...
