Wendy's — Restaurant in Louisiana

I came here yesterday & the young lady was nice in the drive thru. But I would've liked to know before getting my drink that they didn't have tops, I'm sure she was too embarrassed to tell me and I'm sure she doesn't do the ordering for this store. But if she would've told me I probably wouldn't have ordered the meal I could've just gotten my sandwich and saved myself the extra wash of my cup holder area that of course ended up full of drink that spilled out as soon as I went down the exit to leave smh and the disappointment of the really old and nasty fries I got. When I pulled up no1 was there, so when she told me to pull back behind the pole to wait I'm thinking of course they are making everything fresh. Of course not though, they obviously redropped the fries that were already cooked. Or just gave me what was under the heat lamp, but they were so brown I don't think the grease has been changed since 2020. Looked like wheat fries. Anyways... I rarely ever get fast food, but every 3 to 6 months when I do try, I remember why I don't. At this point they mine as well just get rid of fast food all together if they not going to figure a solution out. My last try was also at a Wendy's, the Lapalco store and that was also horrible. I was over charged, she refused to give me a receipt, after a long drawn out issue with 3 different workers coming to try and check me out, i leave and get home to realize i didn't even get my right order, was given something worth even less than what i paid for. Just all bad! Also I forgot to take a picture of the fries since I thru them straight into...

What was I thinking. I always read the reviews before I go anywhere. I did not read the ones for this Wendy's. I placed my order and was told to hold on. Gezzz. Hold on for what. It's not like anyone is at this location. But hey. I'll wait. I ordered a #2. Baconator. Large with the smallest chocolate frosty. I was told. I can give you a larger but we don't have any lids for the large cuos. Fine not a problem. And we don't have chocolate we only have strawberry. Ok fine let's go with strawberry. The cup I got is a medium unless they changed their sizes. I Ask for some Mayo and ketchup packets. Guy turns to get them and says. We don't have Mayo packets. Ok. Fine. I leave go back to my hotel get everything ready to eat. I'm Starving I'm thinking. Not to bad could have been better. But I'm good I have food. Take a bite of my burger. Tasted funny. Oh. It's pink. Yay. Last my appetite I'm done. Burger not cooked properly. Frys taste old and hard. Not even hot. No napkins to spit out the uncooked meat. The strawberry frosty taste nasty and artificial as I guess it should. And the large is not a large. $17.00 Down the drain and I would never go back. Get it together or close the doors. I love Wendy's. This store will make me think twice about...

My husband ordered 3 cookies when the worker opened the cookie cabnet, he took the prongs that was hanging inside the cabinet and he then put them on the counter in white liquid that was on the counter. My husband stopped him and told the worker that he is cross contaminating the cookies. The worker stated he did not put the prongs on counter when he picked it up off the counter out of the white liquid, the young man said he didn't put them there on the counter. The young man then said "Why would you buy cookies if the prongs were on the counter already?" Really??!!! That's was totally rude! My husband said they wasn't there already you just put them there , the worker then denied again and my husband asked for a refund. And told him he needed to go and wash those prongs. The young man as I watched deals with the register and then goes to fix fries so he is not being trained properly and also walks around like in a daze. This is very unprofessional and we will never return to this store again. This is totally unacceptable and could cause major illness in the community because of unclean conditions and the floors we noticed upon leaving is filthy. This need to be taken care off it...
