I have been to the New Cut Road location one other time, and the service was fine, and the food was good. I am relatively new to this area. I am a very patient person and don't mind a wait if the food and service are good. Tonight was a different story. The drive-thru wait was 45 minutes. I got to a certain point and couldn't get out, so I just waited. I placed my order and was told it would be an additional 10 minutes for fish. I said that was fine. He said they were out of corn. No problem, I made another choice. I finally got to the window and sat for a few minutes. A young man opened the window and told me they were closed (it was 8:25 p.m.). Only doing orders that were Door Dash or placed online. I explained they had taken my order and told me my order was $10.59. The initial young man could have cared less. He actually shut the window and walked away as I was talking. I never raised my voice, and I was in no way rude. I knocked on the window, and 3 employees came over. All were young. One young man apologized but said they were supposed to close at 8:15. He apologized multiple times. I asked for a manager and was told there wasn't one, just them. There were at least 5 employees working, and one man was a bit older than the rest. I watched multiple people leave the drive-thru line. There weren't more than 3 potential customers in the dining room. I really do my best to give people in restaurant service a break. I know it's difficult to find help, and keeping it is even harder. I handled complaints in a 500+ bed hospital for 9 years, so I get it. If they are not going to take drive-thru orders, there needs to be a sign telling people so they don't have the same experience. Also, if you are closing early, why would you take my oder?? Unsure why they closed early, but there were multiple bags of orders waiting to be picked up. Read moreI usually love long John silvers and their fast service! Tonight was AWFUL! First and foremost my sister in law is Vietnamese and I being Mexican American approach the counter and the first thing we hear come out of the cashiers mouth is “do you all speak English?” No hello, no how are you, nothing but do you all speak English .. then moments later following that remark the same cashier proceeds to tell me “I can’t help it you’re so sexy” I’ve never in my life felt more disrespected all in a matter of a few minutes. After standing in line for almost 30 minutes that is the service I receive at the counter trying to order? Then the entire time I’m trying to tell the young man my order repetitively, he’s typing in another order causing the drawer to be 10$ short if not more. The people ahead of me, a mother and disabled her son and another young man had placed an order before me; since the cashier thought he was flirting he clears out the screen and had staff starting my order first. Everyone was getting upset because everything was just so screwed up! I didn’t want any special treatment I wanted everyone treated with respect and to get our food we paid for properly! When we were here in October, someone’s kids were running around in the dining room, yet the dining room was closed. Tonight the young lady working the drive thru was very rude as I had to repeat my order 3 times. I ordered 3- 2 piece fish and fries, one water and one medium Mt. Dew. The order totaled $21.70. I asked for extra tartar sauce. She replied “I will put some of everything in there for you. Upon checking, we got hot sauce, vinegar, 3 tartar sauces and mustard. When I asked for 6 more tartar sauces, she practically threw them at our car. Upon leaving and getting to our destination, we only had 2 meals. Upon looking at the receipt, I saw that we were only charged for 2 meals. However, I asked the young lady to confirm my order at the window. She just repeated the total amount due. Worst experience EVER!!
