I first joined Costco when we decided to get a dog. It sounded cost effective even though were are a family of two.

Seven years later, we lost our dog, but we kept our Membership. Even though we don't go there often, the do have some of the best deal and unbelievable, customer focused policy.

Last year, my husband had a full knee replacement and his friend recommended that we get a recliner from Costco which helps people to stand up (the way it's designed). So, of course, it sounded like a good idea. My husband was on a mission to take his PT and knee exercises seriously because he loves playing golf more than anything in the world. I saw him sitting on the recliner less than 10 x in the year since we bought it.

Last November, I called Costco to see if I could return this ginormous recliner (it had been just over a year). Ironically, my husband had bounced back and was on his annual golf trip. The lady in customer service said if I brought it into the store, they would take it back. She assured me it was fine and to make sure the to bring any electronics associated with the chair.

Two weeks later, my husband and I took the chair back to Costco (with trepidation) because it didn't sound believable that we could actually return it for a full refund.

I rolled the recliner chair in a big, flat cart and took it to customer service. The person scanned my card and gave me a full refund.

I was elated!! I was happy to get the money back, but even happier to get rid of another piece of furniture which was taking up too much space!!

Thank...

I visted Costco on June 21st 2018 at the Louisville east Loctaion to go shopping for items I needed, after checking out close to $300.00 dollars worth of items I start to leave and had to show my receipt to the tall older gentleman at the exit door, As he was checking my cart he spotted an item that was not on my receipt, At that point he begin to make me feel as if I was trying to steal items from the store . With a large line of shoppers in line behind me he grab my cart and told me I needed to come with him at this point he made me feel very uncomfortable and embarrassed.since I didnt do any thing wrong. The door gentleman took me all the way back to a register by the other registers so he could fill out a report and ring up the item that was missed when I checked out , Personally I feel this person was not very professional or discrete to protect my privacy on a mistake that was clearly not my fault. after taking my Items to my vehicle I went back in to the cashier and told him what had happen and he stated to me that he had been having problems with his scanner and that is why the item was probably missed. so I believe if that can happen I think the store Management should do audit checks on their equipment so that they do not cause their members to be put in that situation . when it comes time to renew my membership I will give it some hard thought if iI want to continue doing bussiness...

Got my eyes checked at the vision center - that was a great experience, went into Costco to get glasses that was not. There were two ladies behind the counter, one was helping a customer the other was talking to a friend. I walked up and down the selection for about 10 minutes waiting for one of them to finish. I then waited another 5 to 10 minutes for the lady to end the conversation with her friend. While I could get the attention of the lady in deep conversation I could not get her to actually acknowledge me. My husband called out to her, took a few “hey can we please get some help” befor she looked up. I felt bad for her conworker, she seemed a little annoyed that the coworker was 100 miles away in conversation. They lady said that she was helping the gentleman, but that was clearly not the truth, there was nothing in his cart, he was not near any glasses, or the register. That was when I decided my time had waisted and I was going elsewhere. I don’t want an excuse, an apology would have been a starting point, but making an excuse was the last straw. If your going to ignore customers be honest about it, try “ I’m sorry I did not think your were ready, I did not see you there, I’m sorry I was lost in coversation” or “ I hate my job, and don’t care about anything”. I recommend the Costco vision center, but the small selection at that Costco is not worth the...

Drove all the way from Louisville to Costco at 5020 Norton Healthcare Blvd #634c with high hopes of getting the Indian sweets that had recently gone viral during the religious holiday season. Unfortunately, by the time we arrived, they had already sold out almost immediately. When I spoke to the employees, they mentioned that they wouldn’t be bringing them back again, which was a little disappointing—especially since the Bardstown Costco location didn’t have them either. It felt like a missed opportunity, given how popular and culturally significant those sweets were for many customers celebrating. That being said, since we were already there, we decided to do our usual shopping. Costco never fails when it comes to its wide variety of fresh produce, bakery items, and household essentials. The store was clean, well-organized, and the aisles felt spacious enough even though it was busy. Their staff members were approachable and kind when asked for help finding items. The checkout process was also smooth and fairly quick, which is always appreciated. While I wish they would consider restocking more diverse holiday treats, overall, this Costco remains a reliable place for grocery shopping and bulk savings.

Went here today and it was a nuthouse. Lines for self checkout were backed up almost to the back of the store. Even with lines that long I was checked out in maybe 5 minutes. The employees are on top of their game here. They pay their employees good and it shows in their work ethics. I did fall trap to not reading the small print of "per pound", so while I thought I was getting a great deal on some sausage, I actually bought 20 dollars worth. Not the smartest I've felt in awhile. Went to the food court afterwards and pizza was excellent. 2 slices and 2 drinks for about $5.50. Sams club food court isn't open currently, but Costco pizza, from what I remember, is much better than theirs. If we lived closer we would be here much more often. Love this place. If you're coming in make sure to grab a cart from outside, the employees can't keep up with how many customers there are so you'll have to go find your own.

EDIT 4/22/23: Chelsea, one of the managers here, reached out to me and wanted to make the negative experience right. Boy, did she. She offered me a remake, and I came in today and got my remake, and the pizza came out beautifully. Shoutout to Michael as he helped me out by getting the credit pushed through today professionally and quickly. The people at this Costco really do care for their customers. Will definitely be back to shop here and continue to enjoy the food court. When I go to a Costco, I will sometimes order a full pizza. I normally never have a problem. I ordered a full pizza today from this Costco, and I dont check it when I get it as I trust the employees to provide a good pizza like usual. I get this when I get home, which they severely burnt the pizza to where it's dry and have dark brown cheese. This is really ridiculous
