Los Cabos Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Louisville

This place is amazing. A must visit. This is the update to our second visit. Another soft opening visit for us, this place is all about family they make my 18 month old the center of attention without forgetting about their other tables and more importantly us. All the food came to the table as ordered with no problems. Drinks were always full and everything was perfect. For a new restaurant you can't ask for much more, they have their new opening issues but you can tell they are working on them. I'm so happy for a great Mexican restaurant in our Hillview area. Sorry for the photos of the food, everyone forgot and started eating before I could catch it as it was delivered. If something isn't 100% talk to Orlando and he will make it right.

Update I have been this restaurant's biggest fan since they opened. I literally tell everyone I meet to go eat there but the last time I was there changed my mind. The server gratted our check. 1. We were just four people. 2. What Mexican restaurant does that? I expect it in a upscale 5 star place. I don't know if this is their policy or if the server was just trying to get one over on me. Well here's a message to management and the servers. You shouldn't be auto gratting parties of four. I tip fairly, which means I don't mind at all to pay for a good experience. The lesson here is this, your server would have made more money from me than he did adding a generic tip to my bill. I no longer recommend this...

No prices on drink menu. I should have asked before I ordered a $16 margarita that was not quality tequila. They are not at all aware of their customers needs. Took forever for us to order. Took forever for us to get our check and that was after we hunted someone down. Also, saw a couple walk out because they had been seated for over 15 mins and Noone came to their table. They informed an employee, but do not think she understood him because she just smiled. ALL OF OUR ORDERS WERE WRONG. I mean completely. We tried telling them but they COULD NOT UNDERSTAND US!! Even after informing an employee who did speak English and informing him that our 4 orders were completely wrong, we were just left there with the food brought. The food was mediocre at best. I do give props to the owner and employee Orlando who were very friendly. I hope they do succeed, but they need some great training on customer service. They have to have employees that at least understand a little English instead of just looking at you when...

We have eaten here 4-5 times since new management. We get cheese dip every time. We ordered it yesterday and it’s not the same cheese dip you normally serve. This cheese came from a can or a bottle and was cold. We also ordered a chimichanga and the same canned cheese was on the top. We came during lunch time and ordered the lunch special chimichanga but when we got our receipt was changed for the dinner price. I am assuming because they printed the ticket right after 2:00 but we ordered and ate way before then during lunch time. We also have been coming to taco night because we are suppose to get free tacos from a coupon we turned in. Our receipt shows they aren’t completely free which isn’t a huge deal but then you charged us extra to use our credit card and you don’t have a sign that says to use cash.
