Read moreWe took our son LeRoy here for his birthday, and Veronica’s Mexican Restaurant went above and beyond to make it unforgettable. The staff surprised him with a lively birthday song and a delicious dessert, which made the night extra special. Every dish we ordered was packed with authentic flavor—from the Birria platter to the fresh, cheesy birria balls—and the portions were generous.
What stood out the most was the excellent service from our server, who was attentive, friendly, and made us feel right at home. They anticipated our needs, kept drinks full, and made great menu suggestions that did not disappoint. The warm hospitality, combined with amazing food, sets this place apart from any other Mexican restaurant in Louisville.
If you’re searching for authentic Mexican food near Louisville, KY with top-notch service and a family-friendly atmosphere, Veronica’s Mexican Restaurant on Preston Hwy is the place to go. Highly recommend for birthdays, family dinners, or just a night out—you won’t be...

We had to ask several times where we were on the list. After about an hour and a half we got seated (only 5 of us). We tried to order frozen margaritas, which were on the menu and the waiter said they did not have them "right now" whatever that meant. Definitely a language barrier. The air conditioning was BARELY working if at all. The bathroom was as hot as FIRE. Our waiter got lost, food took an hour to get to us, it was mediocre at best. I realize they just opened this location but if you aren't at your BEST when first opening, when are you???? Very slow service, mediocre food and no air conditioning means I will likely not be back. Alot of work to...
