I just changed my rating from a five to a two. I understand that there are new hires and that it can all be a little overwhelming. However, the past three times I have visited some of the servers have acted very unprofessionally and rude. As I sit here now, I'm witnessing a patron being blatantly ignored even when trying to make small talk with a server much less place her order. Additionally, on MULTIPLE occasions I have called to place a to go order and the person who answered has set the phone down and LITERALLY FORGOTTEN that I was on the phone. So much so that I made the call from my home and didn't hang up (while still having talked to no one to place my order) until I walked into the restaurant. I wish that I could give you the names of the servers but the past two I've tried to get the names of havent been wearing their name tags. Very disappointing.
Edit: now a one. the SAME server here always gets an attitude with me slamming stuff around and slamming her hand down on the table to get my ticket. I heard her say once that she wasnt going to take my order anymore. That being said the server in question is very rude and is only upset because I'm not tipping I'm addition the the gratuity she has added to the carry out order ticket already. Very uncalled for. This entire location is in dire need of a complete overhaul. I'm done wasting...
Read moreI’m not much of a breakfast person but this morning I was craving breakfast. First Watch, Bob Evan’s and Waffle House was my choices. I love WH grilled chicken and eggs combination so I decided to go there. I’ve been living in Highview for 14 years but had never been to this particular WH, but because it was close to my kiddos school I went in. Sometimes you have to be careful with WH because you may encounter staff that is rude and uncaring but as soon as I walked in I was greeted with a smile and told to sit wherever I liked. As soon as I sat down a gentleman came over to me with one of the friendliest demeanors I had encountered in awhile ; I could tell that it was important to him that guest felt warmth. His name was Rusty. Rusty wasn’t my server, my server’s name was Cassie and she too was very friendly, but Rusty would come over from time to time to make sure that everything was satisfying and refill my drink. I was reading on my phone and he could tell so he and Cassie both was very respectful of the fact that I was reading. When I went to pay I asked for Rusty’s name and was told that he was the VP of WH! How many VP’s do you know that actually goes into the restaurants and takes care of customers like he did today? Rusty there is a special place in Heaven’s Gates for you I...
Read moreWhoever the waitress is that works third shift here is the worst. Never in my life have I encountered someone in the service industry who complained and moaned non-stop. Not even exadurating, from the moment I walked in to the second I walked out. Forgetful, gets orders wrong, serves first cup of coffee after the food is already in front of me with no silverware. Oh lets not forget, she had to ask me five times what my order was even after supposedly writing it down the second time. Even better, making inappropriate jokes about whether or not someones card will decline when cashing out. Not the first time I've had this sort of experience from this server, but I promise you it will be my last. I'll take my weekly business to a different location. The last time I was here the cook waited on me from start to finish. All she did was write up the ticket. If you work an off shift, you probably shouldn't come to...
