I always go to this qdoba ALL THE TIME........HOWEVER on this occasion it flat out sucked, the staff was under prepared for the dinner rush, they where running out of all food and when asked how long it would take to get more (ie RICE the biggest item) they would not give a straight answer, not to mention instead of getting a decent sized portion of rice I got a small half a spoon full because they ran out and the guy was scraping the bottom of the dish, to be fair he did say he was out to wich all other employees ignored him so I got jipped off the rice, ask for queso he gave me a thimble full out of an empty container when there was a full one next to it, both I and the girl in front had to ask for a little more, continue on down the line, everyone was running around like it was the apocalypse I had to wait a few mins before anyone could get back to the bar to put the remaining toppings on my orders, moving down to the cashier, the poor guy couldn't figure out how to ring up the meal after someone else rang up a to go order that he had no idea they did, someone else had to take 5 mins to figure it out and ring up the order, the employees where very rude and apparently quit serving food at 7, either that or they are completely incompetent as to learn to get pre-prepared well in advance of a full on rush, the only other complaint I have is the fact the guy behind me in a blue jacket (dude you know who you are) felt the urge to put his elbows onto of the safe guard, and the fact NO ONE said anything to him is disturbing, c'mon bro really have some common courtesy, makes me glad I got my food (what little i did get)...
Read moreThis may just be one of the nastiest fast food experiences I have had to date. My boyfriend and I placed a DoorDash order and I asked for a Mexican Street Corn Chicken Bowl and a cup of Tortilla Soup (with the tortilla strips and sour cream). My boyfriend ordered his own choice of a burrito and chips with queso.
When the order came to the door and we opened it up, my Mexican Street Corn Chicken "Bowl" was in a the form of a burrito. I was upset, but didn't have the option to wait the time it would take to get the order corrected, and I was also hungry. We also double-checked the order email receipt to make sure I didn't accidentally choose the burrito option when initially assembling the order, and I didn't.
I bit into this burrito (loose-term, because burritos are supposed to be delicious) and the rice (half cilantro and half brown rice) was extremely undone and unevenly cooked. Some of it was hard and some of it was al dente. It also had absolutely no flavor. It was so overpacked that after I bit into it a couple of times a good chunk of it spilled out onto my plate. Everything tasted like it was old and flavorless as well.
After I gave up on the burrito, I moved on over to the cup of soup. I noticed that they didn't give me any tortilla strips or sour cream for it until I shoved my spoon into the cup to mix things around. The strips and sour cream were slopped into the bottom of the cup before the soup was ladeled into the container, thus making the tortilla strips soggy. I reluctantly took a taste of the soup and I almost gagged at how nasty it was. It immediately went into the trash.
I definitely won't...
Read moreMay I just say how much better my last few experiences have been here? Left a review which resulted in a conversation with the manager. She promised to address my concerns immediately. And you know what? Service has been wonderful and the food, too since then. I trust that Qdoba cares about their customers. I look forward to future visits.
I wish I could say that on July 5th at 6:10 this had been a better experience with the service here. The food? Usually awesome. The service begs to be improved.
Today? I went into the store and was happily served by a young man who made me think of how things had improved until I arrived at the cashier Jenny TM1048. Jenny didn't ask about scanning my reward and didn't give me time to scan. There were very few people in the restaurant so there was time for me to do so. When I asked, she said go ahead with a belligerent attitude. She didn't change anything and seemed to think I would believe the scan had taken. She grumbled underneath her breath and put the receipt in the bag rather than in my hand. When I asked her name, she shouted "Why!" I told her so I could give a review. Qdoba, I understand it is hard to find good workers, professionals, and train them to provide adequate customer service. Please try again with this one.
If you have the time, go to any other Qdoba but this one. This Qdoba is always out of something. It is never fully stocked. It's typically disorganized and today they had five people and only one making food during a busy time. I've been here several times, and they have consistently disappointed us each time. Oh, and in the summer? So many...
