My first time at any Raising Cane's, anywhere, ever. That juicy, tender, chicken, doh! Yeah, okay. Seriously tasty. And the dipping sauce, same same. I told girlfriend at the drive-thru, that I would post a picture of her, and she would be famous, so here goes!
You know, over the last couple of months I've posted a lot of reviews of businesses and public spaces, and I've discovered that despite what we seem to read about ourselves in the news, and see of ourselves on television, at least in the United States I live in, there's a lot of people who are doing their jobs, and doing them well! that is kind of been hitting me over and over in the last couple of weeks. basically, I've given a lot of five star reviews because the places that I've been to are in the business of doing whatever they do, pretty well.
I really wasn't looking for some summary outcome, from all of this, but slowly, almost unintelligibly, through a weird process of osmosis, I'm lead to believe optimistically, that many of us, perhaps even most, take pride in their work, and are doing what it takes to be successful and to give back value.
I realize that's a mouthful, given I just bought an order of chicken fingers and fries, but... well, sometimes it's nice to rediscover that things are actually pretty good around here, you know, regardless of political party, or who's in the White House. I'mma blame...
Read moreThis canes location is hit and miss on the quality of portions you will get in your order, most of the time i get the 6 piece tender meal, and at times during the lunch hour the portions have been thick and meaty and well done.
However i have came back a couple days later around dinner time 5-7pm, and the tenders have been old and dry, skinny and brittle. Even to call and have it noted for a replacement order, it was that bad.
The french fries are always good and the bread is right behind it. I hope the employees take note as the $11-12 dollars price for a meal is high and the food should always reflect the cost, not matter what time of day it is purchased.
Thank you.
Edit: 6-9-2022 Prices have went up 3 plus dollars since 2020 for the 6 piece caniac meal, meanwhile the chicken has to be from a new vendor since 2020 as the tenders are very small and this inst changing as i have went to canes 10 times in 3 months and each visit yields the same results.
Blame it on the pandemic or inflation or life, but this was a nice restaurant to eat at back in 2018-19.
EDIT 8-24-2022
Still trash, the cost for a 6 piece is $15.50 and it was $11.80 back in 2018. Yes i get it the cost go up, however the product has went DOWN BIG TIME.. the chicken tenders are very small and thin and trash, the fries and bread are the saving grace here, but not work $15 bucks.........
Read moreI'm not usually a chicken tender person. But my dad and I were out and he suggested it so we popped in to check it out. Upon seeing the menu I was a bit disappointed that the only thing they serve really is chicken tenders, but when in Rome..... Man was I impressed! They were so juicy, and tender!. I've never had such delicious chicken tenders! I didn't even know they could be prepared like that... I believe they use a pressure cooker but I'm not positive. Anyways the slaw is average, fries are fair, nothing to write home about but the chicken and the dipping sauce are amazingly delicious and fantastic and make up for the rest! If you were up in the air on wether or not you should try them out or feel they are somewhat pricey for just ck tenders, try out a kids meal that's what I normally get and it's a perfect size lunch or snack and u can try it out without too much out of pocket.......
