I usually order the shirazz roll, it's filling and can also serve as an appetizer if shared. Ita usually cut into 3 or 4 portions depending on who is in the kitchen I guess. . . The flavors in the cheese and veggies sing a song in your mouth. . . The sauce is good but not over bearing when you taste it. And the cut that keeps it out of the eay if you font want to use it is handy. . . Today we also ordered the sampler. . . The hummus was good, and the fresh veggies are altars but for some reason there was a thin shaving or bread with rice cooked into it in the box. . . Perhaps form another order? I'm not sure. It's never happened before. . . But the questionable nature or this made the review drop by a star. . .

We've always been big fans of Shiraz at their other locations. Lucky for us they opened this location on Bardstown Rd, middle of the Highlands, just a few blocks from our house. AND this is their first location with beer and wine. This food begs to be eaten with a cold beer or a glass of wine. My favorites: Falafel wrap, Chicken Kabob, Greek salad, Vegetable Kabob, Lamb Kabob....but everything is terrific, very fresh, classic healthy Mediterranean food. You will not be disappointed. If it's busy and you're in a big hurry then please come back later. It's a small place and they can't staff for a rush of people, naturally. If it's busy and you're not in a hurry then stay, grab a cold beverage, and wait patiently. You will be rewarded. If you like Mediterranean then go here now, and often.
