This Mediterranean restaurant is undoubtedly one of Louisville, Kentucky’s finest culinary gems. From the moment you approach the entrance, the enticing aroma of expertly grilled meats and vegetables sets the stage for an exceptional dining experience.

Inside, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between comfort and charm. The space features intimate small tables and long bench seating adorned with plush cushions, creating a welcoming environment that is both stylish and relaxed—ideal for an enjoyable meal without feeling overly formal settings.

Our dining experience was nothing short of spectacular. My wife and I had an unforgettable evening, made even more special by our friend, who seamlessly took on the roles of valet, waiter, and entertainer. A special thanks to the owner, Ramin, and a heartfelt shout-out to our good friend, Philip, for their warm hospitality. For those planning a visit, the restaurant follows a casual yet efficient service model: guests place their orders at the counter, pick up their meals, and, after dining, dispose of their plates and trash in a designated area. It’s a simple, seamless process that allows you to focus on what truly matters—the outstanding food. If you're seeking authentic, flavorful Mediterranean cuisine in Louisville, look no further. This is a must-visit destination that promises not...

I usually order the shirazz roll, it's filling and can also serve as an appetizer if shared. Ita usually cut into 3 or 4 portions depending on who is in the kitchen I guess. . . The flavors in the cheese and veggies sing a song in your mouth. . . The sauce is good but not over bearing when you taste it. And the cut that keeps it out of the eay if you font want to use it is handy. . . Today we also ordered the sampler. . . The hummus was good, and the fresh veggies are altars but for some reason there was a thin shaving or bread with rice cooked into it in the box. . . Perhaps form another order? I'm not sure. It's never happened before. . . But the questionable nature or this made the review drop by a star. . .

Good place. Nice atmosphere and I've seen steady workers. That's a big plus I don't enjoy revolving faces when it comes to putting food in my face. . . Seems like a comfy dine in but not so much of there are more than 5 dining inside. . . I've become extra cautious since...

We've always been big fans of Shiraz at their other locations. Lucky for us they opened this location on Bardstown Rd, middle of the Highlands, just a few blocks from our house. AND this is their first location with beer and wine. This food begs to be eaten with a cold beer or a glass of wine. My favorites: Falafel wrap, Chicken Kabob, Greek salad, Vegetable Kabob, Lamb Kabob....but everything is terrific, very fresh, classic healthy Mediterranean food. You will not be disappointed. If it's busy and you're in a big hurry then please come back later. It's a small place and they can't staff for a rush of people, naturally. If it's busy and you're not in a hurry then stay, grab a cold beverage, and wait patiently. You will be rewarded. If you like Mediterranean then go here now, and often.

Update March 2023: just tried their crispy brussel sprouts. They have perfected the dish. Spot on. Served with a spicy honey....

Looking for a change of pace on our normal regimen, my roommate and I settled on this place. This place is located on Bardstown Rd. There is metered street parking available. Upon walking in you notice multiple places to sit. to order your food you approach the kitchen counter, The menu there is posted into the right there is the daily specials on a chalkboard. My friend and I both settled on the steak kebab a brussel sprout starter and sidewinder fries. Within 10 minutes our food was served hot fresh and ready to eat. Steak kebabs were cooked to perfection and were very juicy. The sidewinder fries were hot fresh and full of flavor. But not least boy oh boy those brussels sprouts were divine. Overall, if you’re looking for something delicious and new to try this would be the spot.

A joke compared to the Popular Level location. Got my usual chicken kabob after being hung up on multiple times trying to place a carry out order. Leave and get home, just to look in the box and see this....raw red onion and one tomato along with a jalapeno. I always receive cooked veggies with my kabob. The best part being that my pita bread which normally is securely and dryly contained in tin foil is layered underneath of my chicken. I'm not sure about anyone else but i don't enjoy soggy pita with my Mediterranean experience. I paid normal price for a kabob and inedible pita bread. ( Not the product that I get at all, and wouldn't recommend this location to anyone.
