This location on lower Brownsboro has changed hands a few times. At one point it was trifecta which was a pizza sandwich and salad place and then it became a nightclub. So when I knew something you was going into the space I wasn’t sure what it would look like and then came good morning Louisville their signs all over the the windows talking about their brunch and initially just a spray-painted sign with their name on it. To be honest, I didn’t have high expectations. I went for a walk one day on the big four bridge and wanted to do a brunch when I got back. I decided to go to good morning Louisville now the spot is easy to find. There’s plenty of parking your next to the Family Dollar in the Papa John’s and it took a while to have a server come by to ask me if I would be eating in at the location. While I’m waiting. There’s a gentleman sitting waiting for his to go order and he starts telling me about how often he comes here. He’s been here at least twice a week since they’ve opened and he says it just keeps getting better even gives me recommendations about what to get. He hasn’t had a bad thing yet. This was very promising. I was then seated so my conversation with this gentleman ended. And the menu was pretty extensive. I decided to order the huevos rancheros. I was not disappointed. The service was quick and the item was so flavorful there’s a special sauce that they’re using with it that just gives the dish such a richness and it also had some rice with it so it was actually a very filling dish. I ate the whole thing pretty quickly now I know what to get for next time or venture out and try something new maybe it’s the huevos rancheros and a single pancake. I can see why this place is popular. I have foresee this...
Read morePoor service, there were others waiting almost about 20 to 30 minutes and maybe even longer with the server we had. I watched as others seem to wonder when they were finally going to get their drinks . When the other server came to serve us, the one who ended up being our server, I assume told her this was her area she was serving. I say it was almost over an hour waiting for our sever not only between taking our orders but also serving other people or taking their orders or them waiting to check out. Some tables were still not cleaned. The sever also forgot our drinks let alone put in the order , when we flagged her down she finally brought them which we were already close to an hour of our wait . I noticed my cup was still dirty around the rim...meaning just recently out the pressure washer , I was immediately turned off. The entire time I watched as the other server who was checking in with her tables, getting them in and out and people who came in way after us already getting their orders and food and hot at that. When our sever finally got out food it was cold and my food was soggy. We immediately left without touching our food and I did speak to assuming the person in charge. I paid for the drinks out of courtesy but they told us not to pay for the food because my mother was very disbelieved and honestly so was I and I was furious but trying to remain respectful despite my hunger. It looked promising but I don't think I ever want to come try here for a very long time. I give service 2 stars just because of the other girl who tried to be our sever and was trying her best...
Read moreThey need to change the vegan specifications to vegetarian. I have been a vegan for 14 years. I called to confirm whether their “vegan” options were truly vegan (thinking maybe they’re using Just Egg or something). The girl I talked to on the phone was kind enough to check with the kitchen. When she got back on the phone with me- she said the kitchen recommended eating the egg white omelette because it’s not made with egg yolk and has vegan cheese. I informed her that eggs in general are not vegan. She argued with me that it was vegan because it had vegan cheese and no yolk. I told her that they really need to change their menu to reflect that these items are vegetarian not vegan, which she did not receive well. She hung up on me. It’s great that they have vegetarian options, but it really bothered me that they are falsely advertising and misinformed…and that the girl was arguing with me about eggs being vegan. It’s unacceptable for a restaurant to label food allergens and ingredients inaccurately. I should be able to trust what they advertise. Labeling food vegan when it is in fact not, is unethical and...
