I don’t get why this place is rated so highly(An opinion)

TL;DR Strip club?? Strippers?? The women here dance in what they’re wearing no clothes come off no matter how much you pay. Friendly staff, music’s too loud by the stage. Would not recommend to anyone looking for topless or fully nude dances this place has neither.

I was looking for a club in Kentucky before Winter and saw this place on Safari. It was rated 4.3 stars and the reviews seemed better than Spearmint Rhino’s. Parking was good there was barely anybody there an hour after opening. I walked in payed a $20 dollar fee to get in, not a great price but not the reason for my bad time. I walked in the main room with the stage and the server asked me if I wanted a table and I said no. There was a guy sitting down on the far right side of the room and all the way on the opposite side in the corner by the bar were all the dancers. ALL of them none were on stage(not a big problem to me) but they were on their phones or not being welcoming. I walked by to go to the bathroom, not a single “hey” or “sit down with us” I came back out and still no greeting. I decided to talk first and started talking to Sofie, no complaints. While I was talking to her I noticed a blonde girl at the bar and told Sofie I wanted to talk to her then come back to her. Sofie was ok with that and polite. I went to the bar and talked to the blonde girl, her name was Barbie she wasn’t rude and I bought a dance. It wasn’t until after I bought the dance that I found out this club isn’t topless or fully nude. My dance was only $60 so I asked Barbie about a private/VIP room and she told me there is one she was transparent about pricing and told me exactly how expensive it was. I ended up paying and come to find out when we’re in the room it’s still no nudity. This was very disappointing I had no knowledge of Louisville’s laws and didn’t know that Lexington was the only place that allowed topless dances. Or fully nude dances as Barbie put it which was a little strange to me because I consider fully nude to be just that… no clothes top or bottom. Regardless, the women here wear fishnet lingerie from their breasts down below their waist and put tape over their nipples. The fishnet tops or tape do not come off even when you buy a $200 dollar VIP dance which could turn out to be $250 depending on the dancer Barbie charges $250. I don’t have anything against Barbie but I wish she would’ve explained the clothing situation before our VIP dance. I have no desire to come here again, when I think strip clubs I think of pieces of clothing being taken off especially during VIP dances. The women here dance in what they’re wearing and how much money you pay doesn’t change that. I wish there was more information on the Safari page I looked at and more honest reviews. No reviews discussing the clothed dances. What one review did get right was the lack of pressure from dancers to get you to pay. I couldn’t agree more with this if you leave them alone on the opposite side of the room while they sit looking at their phones you will not be pressured in to buying a dance. You won’t be greeted either or even acknowledged. If Sofie and the staff weren’t so friendly this would be a one star rating instead of two. My last complaint is the music even before I walked into the main room with the stage I was having trouble hearing the staff member telling me the entry fee. Once I was in the main room I felt like I was shouting just to talk to someone right beside me. The bar area is quieter but be prepared to shout at whoever you’re talking to standing...

I remember when this place used to be Trixies! I rolled it twice and both times was a good experience. First time was right after they opened on a Sunday and didn’t have a cover. I had a beer and ended up getting a VIP with the only girl there. The second time was a Friday night around 11pm, there was about 15-18 girls there. I wasn’t super impressed that it was a Friday night and It sounds like they were just playing music from a Jukebox. Every now and then a girl would get on stage while the others just sit on the floor staring at their phones. There was about 3-4 good looking girls out of the 15-18 there. The employees were great. Very friendly and welcoming. The servers great and very attentive, also looked better than most of the girls. The dances just need to be more of a party starter and smile more. Not one dance approached me. I left after about 2 hours later. I will probably be back here at some point. Side note. The place looks great. Just needs a bit...
