If I could give this establishment zero stars, I would, as it was that bad. First off, it took over 10 minutes for both bartenders to even acknowledge my presence. I asked the one what stouts and porters they had on draft and he said "Guinness"... I asked if they had any other ones and he said no. I asked for a draught menu and, being beyond useless bartender as he was, gave me a bottled beer menu. The dude sitting next to me informed me of the QR code so that I could scan to see the menu. My reply to him was "I want him to do his job and not scan a stupid QR code!". I did scan the code and, well, cell phone service is pitiful in there. The bartender comes back at the same time I was trying to open the webpage and tells me to scan the QR code to which I replied" I'm trying but there's no service down here! "... He tells me to go on wifi, which I was in the process of doing before captain obvious told me to do so. Look at the menu... Low and behold, there's a couple porters! Before I ordered, I saw the screen come up that happy hour is 4-7 and 1/2 price off draughts and apps... But not during "special events". Umm... The Louisville women's and men's basketball teams were playing the same day. To me, that does not qualify as a "special event". To most normal people, a "special event" would be a national holiday, st Patty's day, etc... Not 2 teams playing. Come on, I went to Penn State and they still had happy hour during football weekends. Not on some random Wednesday night. OK... So I order 2 apps, thinking they will be half off... Ohh and the server had to get me a menu, as the 2 useless bartenders were, well, useless. Order my food and the young guy sitting next to me is closing out his tab. Or trying to... He saw what happened with me and had the same issue and he told me he goes there a lot. He gets fed up and leaves, after paying. I guess he was trying to see if he owed them more, which he didn't. I eventually order another beer and then get the tab. Whelp, I was charged full price for everything. I asked the bartender and he said "not on special events and there were 2 games today!". Whatever, dude. I still left almost 20% for 2 dudes that were beyond useless. Don't waste your time and/or money at this establishment. One of the guys...

This was mine and my wife’s first experience here and boy did we like it. We ate here the night we seen Thomas Rhett in concert and the food was great. The basement feel was cool. It got loud at times and was hard to hear my wife but it wasn’t something that was sustained and to be fair there was a lot going on in Louisville that weekend so they were quite busy. Food was great, beer cheese was on point and a must try if you go in and the pricing was about right.

Only things I didn’t like was I had reservations and our table they had reserved was right next to the door and literally right behind the front desk and I felt like everything we said was being listened to and in fact a couple times I actually caught an unnamed employee ease dropping so that was a bit bothersome. Other thing was wife and I wanted sweet tea. The tea they brought us was anything but sweet. We told our waiter and he kinda muttered something about it being not made right and brought me out a cup with the sweet and the unsweetened and when I said no it’s not right he said well they didn’t make it right. So instead of seeing that it was corrected and made right we had to result to adding sweetener to our tea. Which in hindsight worked but wasn’t what we wanted and I just kinda felt he should’ve had it fixed properly.

Those 2 issues were minor inconveniences and we worked around them and it didn’t cloud the experience enough that we won’t return but did keep me from giving it a 5 star experience. In fact we were actually talking about when the next time we would visit because we live out of town and are from Campbellsville so we will plan to eat again the next time we are in Louisville. Thanks...

I absolutely will not be coming back here! We were in town for the weekend and we’re looking for a unique place to get dinner last night. Online, this place looks great but don’t be deceived. First of all, we stood at the host stand for a very long time without being helped. Apparently their hostess left without telling anyone but the manager who didn’t share it with the rest of the staff. The waiters/waitresses just kept staring at us but kept moving without helping (not my job mentality I assume). Second, we arrived shortly after 8pm and they allegedly serve their full menu until 9pm….lies! They told us we could only get their limited, late night menu. Third, when the food arrived one of the staff knocked a full water glass over on our table and 3 of our 4 person party. The server was very apologetic but our waiter just kept rudely trying to hand us all food while we were dodging water and wiping our wet pants without so much as an apology. So silly and rude! Lastly, the food. It was very below average, except for the beef French dip-style sandwich. That was good. One of our party ordered a bowl of chili that came out in a small paper soup container and only had a small amount of chili in it. It barely covered the bottom of the spoon when standing it in the chili. When I asked the waiter if we had accidentally received the cup of chili, he laughed, blew it off and walked away. His reaction pretty much sums up our whole experience here. We spent $100 on food and drinks and left asking where we were stopping for a snack since the portions were light and the food was below average. Don’t waste your time or money coming here unless you just...

Walked in and waited, maybe 3 minutes for a table for 6. Its a dark dungeon, underground type atmosphere. We we're seated in a room off from the main area. The 3 larger tables in this area were extremely close together. The guys sat on the side with less room and the girls sat on the side that seemed a little more normal for spacing. When the table behind us left we pushed the table into a more comfortable setting. We started with pretzel sticks with the Signature beer cheese. Both were really good and I don't normally like beer cheese, just because I don't like beer. I had the chicken and waffles, which was bigger then my mouth and my stomach. Couldn't hardly get my mouth around the sandwich. The waffles are about an inch thick, plus the half inch piece of chicken between them. Goodness. It comes with 2 sandwiches, one became my dinner the next day. Add the fries and that's a lot of food! It also comes with a Bourbon butter dipping sauce and maple syrup. I didn't care for the butter on the waffle, but, it was good for dipping my fries in. Hunter was our Waiter. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. He actually gave us suggestions for our sides that compliment the entree. He was very courteous and well mannered. Only problem I had was that he didn't bring us our "Yelp check in" sample. We were told to dip the sweet potato tots in the Bourbon butter. It was like a mini dessert. That I did like. I was the only one with a to-go box. Everyone devoured what they ordered. Two got the Beer Cheese burgers, one got the Cowboy burger, one got the Louie's Club, and another got the Reuben. They all loved their food.
