This is at best a joke! First of all, my husband booked nor one but two cruises on this boat... our first cruise he booked he believed he booked for an evening cruise which included dinner. So, we did not eat because we believed we would be eating on board. Once boarded we found that not to be so. He was told it must have been full when booking, so we would not be having dinner! We also paid for all the drinks we wanted while on board, but once on we were told, no we didn't pay for that! So we bought our drinks! Then while paying for our pictures, which my husband thought he bought in the package he bought online, he was discussing with the person our situation, and they brought it to his attention that we most certainly DID pay for our drinks in the package deal. Well it was a bit late because we had been purchasing our drinks, so they told him we wouldn't be charged for our pictures..GREAT, we thought those were bought previously in the package but wth at this point. Second cruise sucked even more! Honestly I didn't care anything about going after the first one but it was already paid for and confirmed. We lined up for pictures, we were told that we would be next, as we started to walk up the girl taking pictures told us NO, PRIORITIES FIRST. Well ok, then our pictures were taken and we entered the boat. Someone was smoking throughout the whole cruise! We were towards the front of the boat and wind was going downward of the boat, so it was someone at the very front of the boat but we never figured out who. Several people noticed and mentioned it because it was really strong, not to mention extremely rude. When my husband got our pictures for the second cruise and I looked at them, let's just say the girl taking the pictures needs fired! She looks at them after taking them, and says OK YOUR GOOD TO GO! HA! Then we as customers are charged $$ for them. We expect you know what you are doing and talking about when you say, your good to go!!! Our picture sucked, smelling cigarettes the whole...

The ship and cruise was cool, the dinner mediocre, the service was lacking. Not worth the $300+ I paid in my opinion for myself and my 2 daughters.

It was my foster daughter's 21st birthday, so I paid extra for window seats and the birthday package, which was for balloons, free dessert, coupon for the gift shop, a photo, and an announcement.

Well, we got there early and had a seat like they told us to wait to board. They didn't tell us a line would form and by the time we noticed the line was clear out to the parking lot so getting there early meant we got to board dead last because we couldn't even get out the door to get in line when we were there before everyone else! The photographer was already gone, and most of the food by the time we got seated. They never brought out more so we got whatever scraps were left on the buffet.

Took forever to get a waitress to get a drink, I had to repeatedly ask for all the extra stuff I paid extra for for her birthday, didn't get a photo till almost near the end because they had to go find the photographer. I had to ask several times to get her dessert, and they never did her announcement at all.

The food was ok, the dessert for us was terrible so I paid over $100 a ticket for a scoop of mashed potatoes and some beef, that is all each of us got. There was supposed to be gluten free options but that was all I could eat.

The drinks were an additional charge, $4 sodas with no refills and the one alcohol drink I bought her was $20. Next time we will eat somewhere else and just take the sightseeing cruse for less money!

The Cincinnati Belle was a cool replica and the evening cruise was beautiful. When we got back to the dock we got to watch fireworks from across the river on her deck before we disembarked. It was a milestone birthday she...

The boat ride was fantastic! The price is affordable to do again and again, invite family & friends. The boat was clean and nice. There is parking nearby too. Yes, I would go again! Just a couple of things -

The food....I really thought I was getting more of a meal / better selection of food than hot dogs & popcorn for a dinner time cruise. It doesn't have to be fancy high quality....but at 6, we didn't eat 1st and late to eat later....we THOUGHT there was a light dinner.

The food & drink, I know it's your money maker,

The drinks were ok, but small for the amount charged. I know its becoming the "norm" and I know....you dont want to get people drunk...but even the look of a larger serving would be nice, (You might make more if the drinks were a little larger for the cost).

The food is really my only "let down of the evening".

The seating...it is ok....inside is fine... the setup outside..... maybe if there weren't 2 booked parties taking up the outside upper floors, it would have been better. But with the upper ends booked for private parties, our group of 11 was all along the side of the boat, trying to talk and people constantly walking through us. (I'm not sure there is a fix, really, but a group seating here & there could work?)

All in all.....really it was the food, I wish was better or communicated better that it wasn't dinner. The evening ride was beautiful. Someone telling us a few minor updates on what we were seeing or looking at (yaht club, historical water tower, etc would have been a bonus) orba heads upbyou could see downtown for us folks on the back / side of the boat to grab a photo...

🚢⚓️🌊 Cruise on the Belle of Louisville Steamboat Explore Louisville from a different view with @Belle of Louisville Cruise down the Ohio river and take in the Louisville and southern Indiana views. They have the option to book the dinner option to add a meal to your drip or you can just grab a drink from the bar (that’s what we did). Built in 1914, the Belle is the only remaining authentic steamboat from the great American packet boat era. A National Historic Landmark and an icon of the Louisville waterfront, the Belle is the most widely traveled steamboat of her size in American history. This is such a fun way to spend a couple of hours for date night, with the family, friends and more. They also have special cruise events like events for 21+, kids cruises and more. Add this one to your list and follow @mykybucketlist for more recommendations! #louisville #kentucky #datenight #familyfun #cruise #steamboat #louisvillelocal #thingstodolouisville #thingstodokentucky #mykybucketlist
