So I was in town for work and came here to grab a bit for dinner. I will say I was slightly confused when I first entered as it seemed to be just a bar? Then there was a hotel check-in counter at the bar? Then the window for Zombie Taco that made it seem more like a to-go order than restaurant? Anyways, I asked and you can order from Zombie Taco at the bar and it all seems to be part of the hotel there. I ordered the burrito from the menu and I can honestly say it was one of the best burrito I have ever had. This coming from someone who will put about anything in a tortilla! It really was quite tasty as the meat they use inside had excellent flavor and paired well with the other ingredients. Service was great but I was also only 1 of maybe half dozen people in there at the time. So it was quite and very good. I would definitely recommend this place, but they did not really seem to have seating more than just the bar. The other areas were less of tables and more lounge areas that worked well if you were just having a drink, but food with it would be awkward (in my opinion). So sit at the bar or take the food to go would be my suggestion.

It’s the Fourth of July and we came up to see the fireworks. We thought there was going to be food trucks, but I guess the rain had scared them off so we decided for the tacos here it was disappointed in the size and quantity the brisket was like a real hard rubbery roast beef to eat the pork was OK the bartender had, a attitude that probably says I should not be working in the public. The drinks were very weak, but the price was definitely double I would pass on this place. Definitely had better tacos elsewhere. Something else I wanted to add that bothered me several people had come in inquiring about the fireworks and the male bar tender stated he knew nothing about fireworks. He didn’t even know it was Fourth of July and that they even did fireworks. How unAmerican and unpatriotic. I would suggest all veterans , avoid spending your dollars here. How do you not know it’s the Fourth of July and you live in America?

This is a quirky little gem. When you walk in it can be somewhat confusing as it looks like a bar with only a little pickup window that could be easily overlooked. The staff is very upbeat and friendly and once the conversation starts that can take care of getting your order and letting you get seated and enjoy the atmosphere. They have a lot of retro games link Jenga, Sorry etc. if you are up for a game. There is a fireplace in the middle of the room which in nice at night to relax. Also a little known tidbit, the Moxy's check in is also at the bar. Zombie Taco is located in the lobby. Also the Moxy and Hotel Distil are sister properties, both owned by Marriott. You can actually get to Zombie Taco thru the 2nd floor of the Hotel Distil.

Absolutely horrible food!!! Do not eat the tocos for your own safety!!!! 4.4 stars but the food was literally inedible! Kinda quirky hotel reception desk at the bar, but fun hotel lobby/bar area; gave it a shot. Server/bartender was great! Ordered the mix-and-match 3 tacos for $12 (brisket, pulled pork, fish). I was sitting at the bar drinking a beer but the tacos came out in a paper bag and each taco was wrapped in tin foil, no plate. I grabbed and opened the first taco and noticed it was just a tortilla with some sort of brown-gray meaty paste on the inside; no lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, peppers or any other discernible food, just the meaty paste (possibly one of the pork options I ordered). It looked nothing like any of the other pictures on the goggle reviews. Took the first bite and the temp was refrigerator cold and bite was full of some type of extremely hard crunchy/gritty items, possibly rock or bone. I had to immediately spit it back out for fear of chipping my teeth. I sent it back and didn’t order anything else, it was an epic fail. The staff handled it well and didn’t charge me for the tacos (or even the beer!). This was the worst food I’ve ever had at a restaurant in my entire life (couldn’t even get past the first bite). I’m still puzzled by how bad this was with a 4.4 star rating. How can anyone serve someone else food this bad? How can any restaurant serve such small, cold “tacos” wrapped in tinfoil in a paper bag with no filling except a bone or rock-filled meat-paste? Blows my mind!!!! I really wish I’d taken pictures because I’ve never seen anything as bad as...

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Zombie Taco and I must say, it was a fantastic experience! Their nachos with chicken were absolutely extraordinary and exceeded all my expectations. The moment the plate arrived at my table, I could see the incredible attention to detail. The dish was beautifully presented with a generous portion of perfectly crispy tortilla chips topped with tender and flavorful chicken. The nachos were also loaded with a delightful blend of melted cheese, fresh vegetables, and scrumptious spices that created an explosion of flavors with each bite.

Not only were the nachos delicious, but the quality of the ingredients used was impeccable. The chicken was juicy and full of flavor, showcasing the restaurant's commitment to using high-quality and fresh ingredients. The nachos were also perfectly seasoned, striking a harmonious balance between savory and tangy.

Furthermore, the service at Zombie Taco was exceptional. The staff was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. They provided prompt service and took great care to ensure that I had an excellent dining experience.

Overall, my experience at Zombie Taco was absolutely top-notch. The nachos with chicken were sublime, and I cannot praise them enough. If you're a fan of delectable Mexican cuisine, this is the place to be. I wholeheartedly recommend Zombie Taco and their mouthwatering nachos to anyone seeking an incredible dining experience. Five stars without a doubt Thanks to...

10/10 recommend! Our Samford University Volleyball Team is in town competing at the NCAA Volleyball Tournament at Louisville and found Zombie Tacos from their Instagram and wanted to check out the food/atmosphere. First off I would like to say Rebecca was AMAZING with her response time and making sure our teams needs were met. Traveling and ordering for a party of 26 is not always easy, but she made the process seamless and directly communicated with any questions to make sure our needs were met and the food was hot and ready. We had 2 gluten free allergies and a vegetarian request that was easily accommodated. Most importantly up next is the food review. Our players and staff did not leave hungry. The flavorful options left each of us impressed and wanting to check out Zombie Tacos again should we find ourselves competing here in the future. I cannot rave enough about the quality and service of this place. Did I also mention their assortment of free games to play which our team enjoyed. Uno, foosball, Jenga, Pac-Man, and many many more. If you are ever in this area be sure to check them out and if you are a larger party or team Rebecca will do a great job in accommodating your needs. Thank you...
