Manager argued with Consumers about WENDYS card reader malfunctioning. The elder manager was very rude and disrespectful. The Consumer was forced to walk to the nearest ATM to get cash. When the Consumer returned the elder Manager continued the argument about the card reader. She also stated that "I dont have to serve you" in a discriminatory way. I really didnt understand how she was taking their card reader malfunctioning out on the Consumer. The young manager came over and informed the older manager that the card readers were not accepting cards and she had enter the card numbers into the system manually. This was a huge inconvenience. The managers attitude was poor, the service was poor and the entire store needs a make over including the employees and their attitude. CUSTOMER SERVICE IS JUST MORE THAN GETTING A PAY CHECK. THE NERVE OF THESE PPL THAT BELIEVES THAT THEY CAN TREAT CONSUMERS ANY KIND OF WAY. ENOUGH IS ENOUGH!! I WILL BE FILING A FORMAL CONSUMER COMPLAINT ABOUT THE HARSH LANGUAGE USED BY THE MANAGER. PEOPLE PLEASE DONT EAT THERE. YOUR FOOD MAY COME BACK WITH CROSS CONTAMINATION DUE TO THE FAILURE TO KEEP A CLEAN ENVIRONMENT. SMH. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO...
Read moreService was efficient, but no one ever bother to clean the drive-they window, inside & out. It should be done every shift, asking with outdoor garbage cans always overflowing into the parking lot as the customer drives post them to edit the drive thru window, with their FOOD order. Come on managers, rotate your team to keep the window clean, & the trash emptied. Idk about anyone else, but I lose my appetite to see my order handed they a filthy drive thru window, and driving past garbage cans that have been overflowing since the first time I brought my drive-thru business to your fast-food chain. It's not just one, altho done are worse others, they're all lacking proper cleaning schedules, even if they are a busier restaurant, there no excuse for rotating shifts using a quick spray of Windex, to clean the drive-thru window several times a day. Especially they a world-wide pandemic. (If any employee, it manager refuses to participate in the rotation of cleaning one window, then send them home. There are at least a million other people that will gladly replace their job duties and tasks.)...
Read moreSlowest Wendy’s in the entire highlands/downtown/west-end area. I don’t care if it’s a week day, weekend, and/or day/noon/night it’s ALWYAS slow. Horrible attitudes, dirty inside, the parking lot stays dirty, consistently out of items… such as frostys, drink flavors… even their main side items like chili. When you politely mention having to wait for 25 mins (when you’re the only customer for the first 10 minutes of the total wait) they get an attitude and laugh. They push you to the side and have you park or pull up even if you bought just a #1 meal so that they can cheat their wait times. I’ve worked in plenty of restaurants and fast food places and this is wild. This only continues the stereotyping and bad look of the West-end. Just because an area is known for lower standards because of the city being created this way doesn’t mean it has to stay that way. I live in the west myself and I take pride in the things I do. Cleanliness and organization are simple standards to meet and exceed. Do better. I would give it a .25-.5 of a...
