ABSOLUTELY AWFUL.
The owner of this establishment is incredibly rude. From the minute we ordered our beer to the time we left, he was a complete jerk. Yes, I know this place has a no kids policy after 7, which is why we never go here, but thought we'd give it another chance. After last night, we will never be going back and I will shout it from the rooftops how rude they are. The clock struck 7 and the owner started yelling at the kids who were playing corn-hole and telling them they had to leave. He even went as far as to throw a little boys shoes and baseball gloves away just because they were sitting on the turf area where he was playing. Why? Not only that, but he also threw away purchases that were just made from the market at his establishment. Again, why? Even if you hate kids, there is no reason for that. Terrible customer service from...

My wife and I went to the Backyard Tap not knowing what to expect. When I arrived, I noticed lots of people in small groups laughing, talking, and have a good time. We headed outside to find a cool mix of the best parts of a backyard party. Funky tables, lounge chairs, and a fire pit with a couple corn holes set up as well as kids playing together, without getting rowdy. My wife and I had plenty of room to chat with each other, but the owner came up and talked with us for a bit, then introduced us to another couple. Really cool vibe and...
Read moreLet me start by saying the staff were great and welcoming and the beer selection was decent. I'm not a big fan of their "no kids" policy. They have this beautiful outdoor space with fun stuff to do but kids have to stay at their table at all times and at 7pm all kids have to leave. Maybe that's a draw for some people but if my family isn't welcome then neither am I. Also there are signs literally everywhere telling you what you can't do which feels a little oppressive. Then I asked for water but apparently the tap water is hot (?) so they said I had to buy a bottle of water. I feel like if your serving alcohol a water station is essential. You guys have a cool place, please reconsider the kid policy I'd love to come...
