Edit:
Google only allows one review but my second experience was so great I just had to come back and update!
Finally made it back to my favorite brewery. I’m blown away that three months later Shannon remembered me! The people working here are absolutely fantastic. The quality of service and the on tap beers are just as amazing as last time. The PB&J sour is a new favorite among our group. The beer slushies are genius! We hauled up some friends from CoS this trip and have agreed we need to make our way up here every few months. Just like last time I’ve left counting the days until we can make it back for more! Thank you to everyone that continues to make this establishment the welcoming place it is.
Read moreLove to support small local business here in Loveland, but they need to warrant it. Although we sell their beer at all three of our family Liquor stores to support them, it was my first time ever in the place on Memorial day to buy an old veteran friend a draw. Squid said he'd be right with us, but after more than a dozen minutes, he was still with a couple of young couples, sampling multiple beers, walking past us 6-7 times to draw samples. We walked out as it wasn't worth waiting any more as he was still at the end of the bar with the couples. Really would like to see them prosper even more than thy have, but that up to them, overcoming...
Read moreFor a couple of years I have been getting the Raspberry Sour over at Krazy Karls and not really knowing where it came from. This last trip I went over to Loveland and found the Aleworks and had one in its native setting. Also left with every Crowler of Raspberry Sour they had in the cooler. Its my favorite.
I tried their IPA and was not nearly as enamored of it. It was more a British style then Pacific Northwest. Not saying it was bad or not true to style. Just that I'm a hophead and was hoping for a more regional style than a true-to-british one. I guess I should have asked. When I drink IPA's in actual India, they are very much like Loveland's. They had a Cranberry Sour on that I wish I had tried instead of the IPA.
The brewery itself is tiny, in a cool part of town, and has a cool taproom with authentic old brick inside and out. I love their saying/motto (see picture) "Brew what You Want". I want more...
